Worst service, was told it would only take two hours and ended up being 5 hours for an oil change and two new tires. I went to check on it and saw the mechanic just standing there smoking. After the long wait I was then told my car was couldn’t start it was just clicking and that they tested it and it had a bad battery. I had no prior problems with the battery. They tried to have me buy a new battery which I declined. After going back and forth they finally admitted to a human error which killed the battery. I was finally given my car back and then took it elsewhere to get the battery looked at and it was completely fine. It was a horrible experience and interaction that caused my wife to get upset and cry. I do not recommend this place.

Made an appointment to have my vehicle service, oil change and a flat tire, I was given a 3 hr. Time frame. 2 and a half 6 later, my vehicle was still in the place I had left it. At that point, I decided to wait for the vehicle, but I knew they would not meet the time frame. After 3 hours and 45 minutes later, nd the tech knowing I was waiting for the vehicle and had already pointed out to the rep that he was talking too much with other coworkers, decided not to take inconsideration I was waiting for my vehicle. After he was done and knew I had complained, he parked the vehicle as far as he could without making too obvious that he was doing on purpose. All other vehicles were brought to the front for the customer. As you can appreciate from the pictures, he failed to tighten the oil plug and failed to clean the oil stains from the vehicle. I stained a customers property and drove over 200 miles before I realized that I had a problem. When I called the Whittier location to get the problem fixed, ( because I did not want to take my vehicle back to the same location) and I believe I would be taken care of. I was told that I could take my vehicle back the following day. What a lack of disregard for the business and clients. I wonder what they would have said if I had I not paid attention or drove a long distance? What a failed service. Never again.

I got the help I need after 2 tires from driver side and backed wheel blew off after hitting a curve. Came in with no appointment and was catered by excellently by staff. Thank you and Keep up the great work.

The best place to get your tires taken care of. Friendly and knowledgeable staff with excellent customer service. The team there really goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. My family and I have been loyal customers of this location for well over 10 years. Thanks for everything Firestone Auto Care in Downey. Highly recommend and look forward to our future visits.

The people there are friendly and helpful. They also do decent work and have great warranty's. The only problem is it takes them FOREVER to complete any task. If you bring your car here for anything be prepared for it most likely to take all day.

I took my car in the morning to get the tires changed. The techs estimated it'd be done by 2-3 PM. I arrived shortly before 3 they told me the car would be ready in 20 min. They wasted my time and kept making excuses for the next 3 hours and I finally received my car. They then told me that my shocks were leaking and needing replacement. I passed on replacing them and figured I'd do it myself. However, when I took my tires off to replace them myself I found the shocks in perfectly good condition with not even the slightest hint of a leak. Super shady I would avoid this place and take my business elsewhere.
