Both times I’ve been here the guys working the door were great. The inside was really warm even though outside was 55 or below, gets kind of sweaty and musky in there when people are moshing. My 2nd experience there, there wasn’t any soap in the women’s restroom the whole night, I should have mentioned it to the bartender. And there weren’t any toilet seat covers. Had a good time, just some things can use some attention and improvement.

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE OR THESE PEOPLE. the owners, Gloria and manny who are mother and son, are crooks. they ask for a $250 deposit from the bands to cover any damages, saying it will be returned at the end of the night. they refused to return the $250 deposit not because of damages, but because they didn't clear $1500 at the bar. that was never communicated. Gloria and manny are rude, unprofessional and are liars.

Hole in the wall dive bar. Older lady that drives a blue old car and paints her hair blond always looks angry. If you are looking for a drink with better ambiance and service keep driving down the road. If you're ok to just have a quick drink this is not a bad option. Same lady is always harassing people about parking directly in front of the bar. Only she likes to park there. Yet the people that go to this bar take up the entire parking lot for the other businesses at this lot.

I gave this place 5 stars because I'm very partial to hole-in-the wall bars. Is this place a dive? No. It's got dance and live music in its DNA. Remove the stage and 11/10 it's a dive.

Came to shoot pool and it was ok at the beginning because it was empty. Towards the end of the night we didn't know the table counter that leans along the window was loose and broken until after we leaned on it and it knocked down our full beer. The older blonde lady at the bar refused to replace the beer that fell due to their broken counter and was rude about it. I tried to give this place a chance but it's still the worst bar in Downey.

I love this place, but I won't give 5 stars due to that they don't have draft beer and only cash...they do have an atm machine but sometimes doesn't have money so you have to get out and go to the liquor store for the atm ...but the service it's worth it ...they have live music in the weekends ,they charge but if you early enough you good...(metallic music)

Cozy dive for a drink or three. Live music, pool, TV. Great pour, bottled beer, shot specials. You can't go wrong.
