I'd been looking for a reclining sectional for a few months, having visited many furniture stores in the Bay Area. This was my last try. I knew what I wanted as I told my friend I was with it would probably only take a couple minutes for me to walk through the store. But then there it was! A sectional that didn't look like a reclining chair and was the exact dimensions I was looking for. The woman that came to help me was very knowledgeable and helpful. She frequently mentioned how well made it was. It's actually something I noticed as well when looking at the sectional in the store. But with a big purchase like this, I wanted to think about it because it was not cheap, plus I was with a friend, so the next day I went back to discuss the couch in more detail.Most footrests in sectional recliners aren't very study or give you no room to move your feet and lower legs around. Not this one. I love how I don't worry about my feet dropping with the leg rest extended. Also, I love how the reclining foot rest is an independent power control from the back (or headrest). I can sit straight up with my feet out reading or I can recline the back too for a more relaxed position. The sectional I chose has both ends as power recliners and I also ordered a middle recliner for the long side in case hubby and I want to watch a movie together, we can sit on the same side, reclined. We got the standard lounge cushions which I much prefer over an upgraded choice of memory foam. (Memory foam always collapses whereas I prefer more of a bounce in my seating. I'm not saying theirs would collapse...just giving you my reasoning based on memory foam experiences with other furniture not purchased at Bassett.)The salesperson worked with me on picking a material. I pretty much knew what I wanted and fortunately, they had almost the same exact color and sturdiness I was looking for. She definitely knew what she was doing because I'm also pretty good at it and we were on the same page. I would trust her if I didn't know anything at all just in case you need their help. They will also come to your home to measure and help with material just in case you're wondering. Wish I could remember the salesperson's name now, but looking back on the paperwork the initials are TP. No full name on my paperwork. The couch came in exactly six weeks as they said when I purchased it and it's perfect in our home. Delivery was very smooth with good communication. I'm sitting in it now! I love this sectional! I need to add that this is an American made company too so it's a win win! Thank you Bassett!

Although I didn't actually buy anything from here I did come with the intent to look for a smaller dining room table. There was a staff member that immediately came to our attention and helped point out a few options. I appreciated her assistance. The options were nice but out of my price range so I didn't really bother. Most things are very pricey because it's supposedly made in the USA or at lease designed here. I wouldn't pay much for veneer tables though maybe if it was real wood.

I I bought a sectional in March which was supposed to be delivered around Beginning of July after all that time they told me the back of the sectional got discoloration at the warehouse and when I refused to Accept it they refused to refund my money and the only way is that they have to repair it and I’m still waiting until today 8/17/22They are the worst furniture shop don’t ever go near this placeSpecially the one in Dublin California the customer service is so so bad.

Just dont waste your money and time! We paid extra money and waited longer to get sectional from Dublin. They nice also sold the warranty and we agreed just because sofa is quite expensive. Here it comes within 8 months, pathetic quality.. worst material. We had our other sofas from Macys and never had any issues. I called up and told them the issues.. guess what, oh we don't over back cushions what?? Wait can you tell me where its written in contract? Oh no, its not written but a corporate policy. Well it was not told to us when you sold is sofa and warranty, are we supposed to dream anout this corporate policy? All you get answer then is, manager will call you.. and that never happens.Its not worth of your time to argue with these people and certainly not worth of spending too much money for so called quality… its all bogus.. proof is here.

Not so great experience with this store and Bassett in general. We purchased a sectional with chaise from Bassett. The ordering process was good and the rep was helpful in picking the right sofa for our needs. However, when we tried to cancel as we got a message that the fabric we picked was backordered, we got differing answers from the reps in the store. One rep told us that the fabric was already cut and they couldn't cancel. Then when we said we got this message that the fabric was backordered, the other rep told us that the frame was cut. We understand the unwillingness to help and decided to just get it. After 4 months wait, the sofa was delivered with stain and deformed cushion on the chaise. Mind you this sofa cost us close to $4k net for a 3 seater sectional. We had 5 days time to report it and so we did. But then there was absolutely no follow-up. We kept calling in to check on what was happening. A local furniture store rep was sent who looked at it and confirmed he couldn't fix it. Now it's been a couple of months since they agreed to replace the broken pieces of the chaise, not replacing the chaise and there has been no follow-ups again. When we expressed disappointment about it, the store manager's tone was weird. She seemed to suggest that they are fixing the issue and somehow we should be grateful about it. There was no apology for the situation.I definitely had high expectations from Bassett in general as I thought of it as a premium furniture store. Going through this experience has made be think otherwise. I will never shop at Bassett going forward unless obviously I feel insecure about my achievements and feel the need to overspend on junk to feel better.

Never buy your furniture from that store. Customer service are rude and they just make excuses about the delay of delivery. We bought a coach on President’s day weeken and we haven’t received it as of June 11,2022. They just mive the delivery dates out.which is so disappointing. Never never shop from that store.

We ordered a sectional and chairs and thought that Bassett would offer high-quality products so decided to spend over $15000. It's been 18 weeks and our sectional has not been delivered. The chairs and loveseat we got are extremely poor quality and overall my experience with this place has been terrible. I will never spend any money at this store. They keep saying they are catching up with covid and that delivery timelines are all over the place but that does not explain the extremely poor quality of products. We wanted to get things that last us a while and are comfortable but their products are not. Never again. I wish I had never stepped into that store in February 2022.

Really bad quality furniture at exorbitant prices. Had a sofa made and after months of waiting, it arrived in the worst shape of any furniture company I have ever used. There was just a complete lack of quality control. Back cushions weren’t made to scale for the sofa. There are big gaps between cushions where there shouldn’t be. All the legs were dramatically bent and the sofa was wobbly. Who has ever seen a wobbly sofa?!? Plus the seat cushions had knife cuts in them. Cushion seams don’t line up. Seams shift over time after considerable use but they shouldn’t arrive grossly shifted. This is one thing all Interior Designers check as a metric of build quality before they purchase. I got a bench seat and instead of using one piece of fabric they just took two cushion pieces and stitched them together. Bench cushions have clean lines, this one doesn’t. So disappointed and at this price point as well. Stick to more main stream stores. Can’t caution you enough against making a purchase with Bassett. I did contact the store and follow all of their protocols, it’s nearly impossible to get anything fixed or addressed. They just play games. There is no one to actually speak with, you just leave messages on an unmanned voicemail box. They return calls at odd hours like 2am so they are certain to miss you. You can never get a real person. They will dictate dates they are willing to connect which is left as a message. These dates are typically a month out at any given time. It’s all just a joke.

I ordered almost $9000 worth of items and was never told it would take a long time. I tried to cancel order because I was told 3 months after ordering that the fabric for my chair was on back order. I texted multiple times on status of furniture and kept getting ignored. Finally I went into the store and was told I had to talk to Jalon, who wasn't there. She called me later that day, over talked me, did not listen and told me conflicting statements. I told her I felt they lied to me and she got upset and said She did not appreciate me calling them liars and when I asked for corporate number she said I would have to look it and she hung up the phone. To this day I do not have my furniture and I emailed the company. I am waiting on a response. I feel as though they got the sale but refused to reason with me. I am will be getting an attorney and know multiple people and I definitely will be telling all my doctors and friends to stay clear of Bassett. Their customer service is terrible and they do not care about transparency or telling the truth. I am a laid back woman and the inconvenience and inconsideration knocked me off my feet. Poor poor poor service, at this point I am paying on furniture that I don't have. I live in cali and Vegas and need to be told in advance when delivery will be. This is not good service and down right unfair. But when my attorney gets done with them they will wish they had treated the customer better, it will cost them exponentially. Very disappointed

Great people and great furniture. You can really tell the furniture is quality made. The staff there went out of their way to make us happy - and in such a friendly way! It is so nice to walk into a business and feel appreciated!

An amazing store if you would like to customize your furniture. We just went to check out the offerings and collection to get an idea. The dining tables and accent chairs were really good, along with center and side tables. I would defintely recommend it to people who would want to put in a little extra to get that exact color or wooden texture to match with their interiors.Rugs are also great !

So, Bassett furniture did reply to my yelp review. They said they were going to email me to discuss my problem. NEVER DID! Be very careful purchasing goods from this store. Once you've made the purchase they want nothing to do with you.
