We bought a new washing machine and dryer from Best Buy in Dublin, CA a month ago. when they installed them, they forgot to put the drain hose in the drain hole in the wall outlet. when we ran our first load of laundry, water flooded our floor in the laundry room, into the hall and adjacent bathroom. we called them and they said they couldn't come out for two days even though it was an emergency. we had another firm come out and clean up the mess and check all the washer and dryer connections which cost $380. We had to clean up the mess with TEN large beach towels, wash them and dry them. the house was a mess for about 6 hours. We applied to their Geek Squad's warranty and resolution dept. they said they would email me an application for settlement. We heard nothing from them. I called them today and waited 45 minutes listening to what sounded like a Phillipino auction in the background. after she checked several times with her manager, they said the best they could do was a $125 Best Buy gift cards. I said no, I did not want a gift card because I would never buy anything from Best Buy again. I only wanted the $380 plus another $100 for energy to wash and dry the 12 soaked beach towels and some inconvenience. I hung up on them, totally pissed! DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY, TERRIBLE WARRANTY CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Doug Basch Pleasanton, CA

Best Buy delivered very poor, disorganized and incompetent customer service. So our dryer had major issues and we decided to replace the 10 year old washer and dryer set. We thought Best Buy would be a good place to shop. Well we were very very wrong. We had to wait over a week to have it delivered. The day finally came and the delivery man kept delaying dropping it off. He texted over and over his supposed progress making the delivery time later and later. He finally said he'd be at our place at 7. Three adults waited and listened for the doorbell and waited for the text stating he was here. No call and no doorbell. Although he had texted repeatedly throughout the afternoon telling the husband he was running late, he didn't text us or call us to let us know he was actually here and just left!! The next day when the husband called to complain he was told the guy said he took pics (?) and said he knocked and waited 5 min. The fact that he *didn't call or text* when he *supposedly* knocked and got no response (like the texting he had been doing for hours), was very poor customer service. I'm assuming he wanted to make sure he didn't get a poor rating for a very late delivery, and just left. The husband and I spent hours being transferred from one customer service agent over and over again trying to get this resolved. Instead of Best Buy taking ownership of this issue and making it right, by at least delivering it on Saturday (days later than it should have been) they refused and said instead we could wait almost another week from the original date to have it delivered. With so many choices out there we won't be using them again. Between the incompetence and lack of integrity that they demonstrated it's not worth all the time we spent trying to get this issue fixed. Buyer beware....exhale

I will never go back to this store anymore they never help the customers and very disrespectful absolutely no knowledge of customer service especially the manager I will closed my Best Buy credit card and never give them a business anymoreI don’t recommend this place to anyone don’t go there anymore because if you look different they will never help you out

What a stupid and poor customer service I went to this store to buy my needs their website says they have it for pickup and delivery I asked and the manager of the store come to help me with a rude and disrespectful, unprofessional and stupid behavior I will never come back to this stupid people and I will close my Best Buy credit card right now! Never ever come to this specific store!

Worst experience on a new year day. The person sitting in the front doesn’t care about the customer and doesn’t try to help at all. I requested for the oura ring size and he behaved as if he doesn’t care.

Give 1 star since you have to assign something. My son received a VR set as a birthday gift in early November. A week later, the controller cap popped off, and since then, I've been 3 times in this location without anyone giving support. Unless you have a protection plan, they won't execute the warranty even if the fabricator send you there. The sad part is that the controller works fine. It's just the cap that needs to be reset. Fun fact is the gift was bought with a best buy card, and even though no benefit or protection is offered. Why bother with a company that doesn't care for customers, I could lie and buy the plan over the internet, and a week later, execute the plan, but how ethical is that. I guess this is why I would rather use companies that really back up the products they sell and support customers who are not trying to scam them. Good luck to those who still go to Best Buy. For me, it is not worth the effort, especially if their credit card can't be back you up unless you pay a pricey protection plan that last 1 year only

Came to the BestBuy I most frequent prior. The other locations wasn’t helpful nor cared at all. Was looking for a new laptop and got all my questions answered from a very knowledgeable computer rep. called Santiago. Boy he knows his stuff.
