We received top notch customer service with Christian at the Dicks in Dublin. He has helped us several times and is always super knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely interested in helping us get the right equipment. Today, he patiently took the time to help my son select a new bat and even gave him some pointers. We really look forward to having him help us every time we visit the store. Thank you Christian!

Okay, I debated between a 3 and 4 star review. Because it was such a slow time with few people in the store last time, and we saw several employees literally turn and almost run away (it seemed) as we tried to approach, I went with the 3 stars. Overall, Dicks has a bigger selection than other Sporting Goods Box stores in this local area. There are better stocked/better priced ones if you drive over 30 min. While it does have more than the "other" nearby store, it still didn't have the bat we wanted and said a shipment was coming later that night. This is the second time we heard that, so not sure if it's "real". Seems to be the norm. Although, after we saw it available online, at the store, it no longer was... it is in fact a popular bat, so will agree it's just not available right now. I will give kuddos to every employee that has helped us once we receive help. They always have a great attitude and ask useful questions to help with our purchase (hence the teetering between ratings) once we have their attention. So, Dicks has done well to hire and train people in interacting with customers. Well done! The store always looks immaculate and presume most of the employees (when not "running away" LOL) are working hard to keep it that way. It's definitely more expensive than other stores and online, but they do price match. They don't match every store and it must be in writing, so if you're willing to do your homework and have documentation, they will do a price adjust. We will continue to come back. I would be happier taking my baseball players shopping if it was a less frustrating experience finding someone to help us.

Shopped here this past weekend and the clerk did not put all of the items I purchased in my bag. Got home and realized it. They refuse to refund me over the phone and require me to drive all the way back to the store to help me. This is 2024 and you can't process a refund over the phone when it's the stores fault that I didn't receive what I purchased? Ridiculous

Special shout out to Jaden, Sylvia & Ariana for a wonderful, pleasant and swift shopping experience! I just purchased some Brooks (adrenaline) tennis shoes for my dad & sister and the service was beyond my expectation! Thank yiu Dick's for getting it right!

On a business trip I stupidly left my athletic shoes at home, so I visited this store to grab a replacement pair. The gentleman in the shoe department was helping some folks, but he divided his time between them and me, and quickly helped me find what I needed. That's a bit unusual .... most sales folks would do one at a time. Checkout was pleasant, and I was out the door in five minutes. That deserves an attaboy.

I was greeted by Jessie in the shoe section. She was full of smiles and very perky. She asked me what I was looking for and I told her. She took me to that section, and she started giving me attention to detail on the shoes! I was very impressed, because that just does not happen anymore! Jessie was sweet and warm. She gave me 'beyond" excellent customer service, where I had to ask her if the store gave their employees a commission, but apparently, they don't. I left the store thinking to myself there needs to be more Jessies in this world! KODUS to Jessies parents that raised her well.

Loved the socks at first but they get holes in the toes!! I have not had these socks more than a year and holes are forming in the toes. This also happened with another pair. Bombas needs to fix this huge problem these socks are not cheap!

I purchased 3 tennis skirts on sale online. I need to exchange the size so I called DICK'S via phone. They told me to go into a retail store and they can do the exchange for me there by ordering the replacements and taking my order back. So I headed to this Dick's store closest to me. When I got there, I went to the cash register and told him what I needed to do. He sent me to the back of the store for apparels. I went back there and there was no clerk to help me. I walked around and found an associate working on a bike. I told him what I needed and he shook his head and sent me back to the front. I went back to the front only for him to send me back again to the back. He said to look for a gal named Rachel as he supposedly radio's Rachel to meet me in the back. I went to the back and there was no Rachel. The ladies in the back then radio'd her and she then magically appeared. I told her what had happened and she said the guy at the front could have taken care of this for me. This is what you call human ping pong. I guess it's a sports store, literally. Joking aside, No one wants to handle the customer. At least Rachel tried to help me so they get a star for that. Beautiful store but sucky service.

I wanted to place an order for 70 tumblers for our staff appreciation week. Dick's on line ordering limits me to 4 of the item a day. When I ordered my first order of 4 tumblers and called back the next morning, the order would not process. The reason was that I had placed the order only 23 hours previously and the next order has to be at least 24 hours to the minute. After being on hold for 27 mins. and speaking with Ms. Johnson and Cal, her supervisor, they said even they cannot place more than 4 unless 24 hours have past since the first order. This is quite frustrating and my order for 70 tumblers will now be through Amazon.

It's a nice looking store with relatively friendly employees. But they have an absolutely lame selection of hiking boots. In an area with More outdoors and hiking opportunities than just about anywhere, they had around 7 pairs of boots, and four of them were work boots not hiking boots.
