I’ve been shopping at Ross for many years. I’ve even tried to be a vendor and sell my throw pillows to Ross in the 90s. I live in Seattle now and I I am disgusted that I cannot go into any Ross in Seattle Washington without being stopped and held up before I could just walk into the store because of theft and when I pay for my items before I walk out the security rust over took a marker across my receipt with it and then I was asked to show my receipt. Of course I refuse to stop or stop after shopping to walk out of a store Seattle stores are disgusting. There’s a lot of theft but that’s not my problem and it’s not my fault and I think they really need to do something about this. Ross. You should be ashamed of yourself to do this too hard-working, loyal honest customers get your cameras working get your security in order but don’t make us honest Hard-working people suffer to go shopping, which should be a fun thing to do, but it feels like you’re being stopped to go into a prison Get it together, Ross

I can’t believe that I was just blocked from entering the Westwood Village, West Seattle store by a security officer who had to read something to me. He actually had a black security tape like they use at the airport to open or block an aisle…in this case, he blocked me from entering the store to read a sign. When I asked what it was about, he said I have to read this to you. I’m a grown woman and can read for myself. I turned around and left, stating my displeasure and he agreed that this is ridiculous. I called the store manager from my car to let her know this is a terrible idea and I will be spending my money elsewhere. She said she’d let her corporate manager know, but I thought I’d do it for her and am leaving this review for others to decide for themselves if they will shop at Ross. This is a disgrace and I can’t believe this is happening in America. God help us all.

⭐ 1 Star - Worst Customer Service Experience Ever at Ross!
I had the absolute worst experience at the Ross store in Phoenix, AZ. I recently purchased a charger from this location, only to find that the box was EMPTY when I got home. Understandably frustrated, I returned to the store to address the issue.
When I arrived, I encountered a manager named Maria Elena. Her attitude was beyond unprofessional—she was outright rude. Instead of providing any sort of customer service, she simply told me to "get back in line" without offering any help and then walked off! This is not how you treat paying customers.
To make matters worse, while I was in the store, I found another empty charger box on the shelf. When I brought this to the attention of loss prevention, they casually mentioned that this "happens all the time." How is this acceptable? It makes me question the store's overall management and quality control.
I am beyond disappointed with the way I was treated and with the lax attitude towards ongoing issues like this. I won't be returning to this location—or any Ross, for that matter. If this is the kind of service and product quality they offer, they’ve just lost a customer for life. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere!
I even took time to contact Ross corporate office and they never followed up either. I rarely say this but I swear I will never ever frequent Ross anywhere. What's crazy is companies like Ross will be begging for patronage whenever bankruptcy comes knocking wondering where it all went wrong. I'll happily enjoy that day. Good riddance

Horrible experience at Ross on Battleground Ave in Greensboro NC today 08-23-24 purchased a piece of furniture, paid for the items and it was too heavy for me to get it out the store into the car. I'm a 80 year old senior. The manager, security guard refused to assist me in getting it to my car after I had made my purchase I waited 30 minutes for assistance. The shopping carts are unable to be removed from the store. I was very disappointed with the custumer service received I've spent several hundreds of dollars in the past shopping at Ross and this is the appreciation I received today. I ended up returning the item since I was unable to receive assistance. It was an unbelievable experience. I will never recommend nor shop here again.

Absolutely horrible probably 65 to 70 people in line and only two cashiers on staff while somebody stands at the door and greet people. Is that more important than getting people through these lines I feel like whoever manages the store is doing a piss poor job.

I’m in Ross trying to purchase a bed foot bench and it’s filthy. I asked the store assistant manager. She said her name is Stephanie but on her tag it said fanny and this location is on Cicero in between 31st and Cicero. She said that they’re gonna throw it away instead of selling it, can someone make sense of this? If a customer is willing to buy it ! they don’t wanna give a discount so they are just trash the whole item. The STORE address is 2945 S. Cicero Ave., Cicero, IL 60804

July 2024 by 19 Is the Number
I came online to search for the Ross Corporate Office Number to report the poor customer service of several employees at a Ross in Conyers, Georgia and I see that they already have a low review score due to the same issues.
This ignorant way of treating their customers is their countrywide store culture. It makes sense because they sell the cheapest of the cheap clothing. And they pay their employees so low of a salary that they cant even afford to shop at Ross. So theyre getting the bottom of barrell type of people to work there.
But eventually they will be going out of business because TEMU and other Chinese Online Wholesalers are driving all these brick and morter businesses out of existence.
I don't have time to waste now even complaining about these poor people because it won't do any good. I told the ignorant woman today that was a Manager or something that if she continued to act unprofessional like this, she would NOT elevate pass working at Ross. And with the look she gave me back she knew I was right. Doomed to minimum wage is punishment enough. God bless her heart.

I bought a clothing rack. Two of the main pieces were missing. I returned it to the store. The employees are not the brightest pennies in the change purse. Is that polite enough? I told them before I did the exchange I wanted to make sure all the parts were in the replacement. I opened the box of the replacement to discover missing parts...AGAIN. Meanwhile a dishelved young woman walked up to me and told me you can't do that! She then promptly went to the front of the store and told the loss prevention man I was trying to steal the item I had actually just purchased. Now she has made herself liable because she has accused me of shoplifting when in fact I have purchased the item. But she's not bright enough to check her facts or even to ask me what I was doing or if I needed help. Had she done that she may have discovered that I did need help finding a product in their store that's not returned items that have parts missing. And they wonder why they're going out of business? Try hiring people wiho can complete a sentence and lose the attitude when they come to work. Yes you're gonna have to pay them more. But then you'll still have a business it's not brain surgery. Or maybe it is for some. smh oh and I think I should post that this store is located in the Houston Heights on 11th St. Of course I'm not allowed to photograph the employee question but she's pretty obvious. lol

So worried about loss prevention but can’t even have more than one person at a register when busy. THATS where you lose customers. Recognize because I won’t come back due to that and the wait time is just CRAZY. At this point I’m going to Marshall’s. Sad
