Asked for bald shave only used some loud clippers that yanks your hair then used hot towel to clean me off that left a nasty mildew smell.. to top it off still have hair left over didn’t recommend

Chi is fantastic, she is the only one I let cut my hair. She is sweet, good at her job, friendly. As far as the salon, it's clean, it functions but it's boring, corporate, it feels like a cheap experience, it screams cheap haircut. A lot of tech men from India come here, their sons come here. There are a lot of kids and elderly ladies. When I tell my friends I get my hair cut here they laugh. Chi is a gem. I am a professional artist and designer and if that were my place I would put in some comfy chairs for clients, have stacks of style magazines, have a vintage vending machine with Japanese snacks and cool drinks. I would have a water station with ice water and lemon slices. I would have an area just for products with its own lighting, nothing over priced just fun hair stuff, fun temporary color, products made by people not factories, fun hair accessories... I am all about a unique boutique experience. When I was working on set in LA there were lots of these fun places, people came early to chat, shop, have a snack, look at cool hair styles. It wouldn't cost a lot, less than the ugly posters you force them to display. That marketing is out dated, take in the high school girls, the walking stroller moms, teach you stylists some new hairstyles, bring down the cost of a simple dye job.

I made an appointment online and checked-in at the store well in advance. It was not a very busy day and I was one of the first seated in the waiting area. I'm used to wait times and waited 25 min after my appointment time, and when I asked about my appointment time estimate, they told me to wait for another person in front of me even though I was #1 on the waitlist. Suddenly a few minutes later, my name disappeared from the waitlist, and when I showed both service people my email/text confirmation as proof I was there first, they both spoke dismissively, told me I would be next in line, and instead took a customer who just entered. It was very obvious that I had been waiting there for a half hour and yet they didn't even take that into consideration. They told me I would need to check in online again in the system, and by then, my name was pushed down in the waitlist line to #8.
I was very surprised to be treated this way, that too having already waited for nearly a half hour by then. They could have taken a second to check that I indeed had an appointment. I left as it did not feel right for me to have to wait even longer.

I was a walk in and was greeted by Jenny. Jenny did a great job cutting my hair. She was careful to follow what I wanted with just a splash of her own suggestions. The result was one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time. She was also very pleasant and experienced. I will be back in 8 weeks for sure!

Brought our 7 year old boy for a trim. She as great!!! Listened to what he wanted and didn’t cut it too much! He left there with shoulder length hair and a smile on his face!
