“My 5-star review is specifically for Dr. Maggie Yousefpour. She has a great bedside manner and truly takes her time with you. She listened to my concerns and told me what we should do. My ingrown nail procedure took about 5 minutes. You can tell she cares and enjoys her job :)”

“I loved it. I was taken aback because of the location but let me tell you that after I walk in, I was transported to another dimension. There is valet parking, certainly a plus. Inside you are provided with every you need. The event took place worry free. I would def. recommend it. It made me appreciate what Los Angeles has to offer.”

“I just spent the week at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center. GAME-CHANGER! I have learned so much about authentic yoga with a group of the most lovely and caring people. The level of kindness, acceptance, and love that was extended to me during my stay was absolutely extraordinary. I took a course called Positive Thinking, and my instructor was Parvati. Thank you wonderful Parvati! This course was so helpful to me and was taught tools on how to create more peace in my life, and was done from an authentic yoga perspective. I stayed for almost a week and was dealing with pain in the right side of my body including my neck, shoulders, hip, and foot. In just less than a week, almost all of my pain has cleared after participating in the 2 daily yoga classes that were offered to me. Needless to say, I am a happy camper because I feel so good! The Swami is such a phenomenal yoga teacher! Thank you, Swami, and Sivananda Yoga Center for helping me so much! I am a healthier person as a result of your yoga teachings!”

“I love this little shop because it is really inexpensive and has some great designer brands and shoes most of the time! I used to shop here years ago. Because the business is small and has limited space, you will need to say "excuse me" frequently. High-quality apparel may be obtained at rock-bottom costs here. You won't find a better deal anywhere else.”

“Several years ago I decided to try riding again and Flintridge has been a life saver. It is a beautiful facility and having an adjoining field with trees to just meander around has been wonderful. There is really no other place like it in Los Angeles. The high point of my week is now my Sunday with friends as we just walk around on our horses and relax.”

“Ring bell for Carlos if gift shop is shuttered but hours say open. Super delicious toffee. Pumpkin bread is their signature bakery hood and once seasonal only cranberry proved so popular it’s available year round. Be warned Carlos is an excellent salesman and you might leave feeling swindled but don’t worry everything you buy supports the nuns and boy does that peanut brittle sneak up on you proving Carlos correct. Eaten without it’s counterparts it is addictive bc it’s not sickly sweet like other brittle. Easy to polish off an entire bag. Carlos will also give a history of the monastery and tell lots of entertaining stories of visitors describing the goods as crack to which Carlos will reply that he has never tried crack so can’t rightfully compare. There are also more salacious Thorn Bird and Milkman esque gossip for the less easily offended. And nuns are human ones like when they go to See’s to check out the competition. Oh and you can also quiet reflect in chapel and gardens.”

“I come here to play rec league soccer once a week (sunday), it's a nice park but they should probably staff it up a little bit, there was an assault in the bathroom on one of the rec league officials in the women's bathroom (by a man). An unusual occurrence to be sure but it happened and recently. They are doing some work on the park at the moment so part is torn up.Playground: Yes!Restrooms: Be careful!Dog-friendliness: Not sure.Picnic area: Nice, but you have to share space with the local unhoused and vagrant communities, it's as much their park as yours (Google maps user).”

“Store front is locked and closed due to a broken gate that has been broken for weeks. Wish Google Maps would update but they only have this information on Instagram. Waste of 2 hours in traffic plus Uber fees, but I still hope to make it back by here on a future trip to LA to buy some stuff in person, I like their mission and appreciate them. Just don’t appreciate that google maps doesn’t have accurate information.”

“Armory Center For The Arts is a non-profit community arts organization that offers arts education programs and contemporary art exhibitions in Pasadena, California. What is great about the Armory is their different programs such as art exhibits, workshops and art classes. Their current exhibit is the Plein Air which runs through Dec 10, 2023. It is a group exhibition that explores shifting ideas of western landscape, painting, and fieldwork. It's my first time visiting this museum. I spend no more than 40 mins to go through the entire art exhibit. Admission is free. Parking lot is next to the museum. Staff was cordial. Overall, I had a good time exploring their art exhibits.”

“We've been meeting on Fridays here for years and rent on Saturdays for one off events. The staff is super helpful, and the spaces, like the main room with a stage, and the basketball court (also has a stage) have bee really flexible and useful large spaces. There is a dedicated parking lot in back and there's usually ample street parking.”

“This small thrift store has it all. Except parking. one spot is for donation, two handicap and about 8 spots for customers. Technically you are not supposed to park in the neighboring business. Off street parking is available but it can be a short or long walk. I have been there three times so far. the store is well staffed. Probably too well staffed. On my last visit an employee was keeping low in the back of the retail area playing a video game on his phone. I have had great interactions with other employee. The store has two color tag sales each week one for 50% the other 75% off. also they have incentive sales to bring in shoppers. Check the website. How one views the pricing is subjective. I personally find the pricing on the most affordable. so far this is the only thrift store that I have found that has a free to sign up loyalty program. Out of the three thrift stores I frequent in the Pasadena area this is my favorite.”

“My experience thus far has been a case of psychological terrorism. Incorrect information, conflicting info, incomplete info. I can't work with this kind of chaos, and foolishness. These people are inept, and unable to do whatever job they are supposed to be doing. Authorities in the outfit are unavailable, or non existent. The receptionist is drunk. The list goes on and on. Someone needs to be responsible and take charge. This is something that will never happen.”
