“Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto concert was amazing, great performance and only happy and friendly people around. Easy to access and to park. I like the fact that we can bring our
Children.”
“I did a walk-in just to have a quick peek today and they fortunately had one spot open! The cats were so friendly and receptive to pets and scratches. The separation of studios further inside the cafe was really cool for individualized socializing. It's also super clean and stocked with toys and seating areas. The decor and cat houses were so cute too!”

“I love this little theater for its great little, often, local shows. I have seen probably a couple dozen shows here over the years. I recommend the first row seating over the VIP tables often since the tables are very close to the stage.
Also, the accessibility bathroom is on the lobby floor, but the majority of the stalls are down some steep stairs.
Parking is atrocious in Chinatown, plan ahead!”
“If you like bunnies, this place is the best. They rescue, care for, foster and adopt abandoned and abused pet rabbits. I've been a foster for them for years. Super rewarding and gratifying. They are supportive and helpful.”
“Staff are great, specifical team the checked me in at late afternoon helpful, and pleasant, and well organized. I found it welcoming and lobby area had plently if information abiut sites and places to eat in the area, with everything posted in a engaging fun way, yet profession and lobby and hallways very clean. Did a walk around inspection of the kichen, dinning/common area, bathroom, TV area and everything was exteremly clean and well cared for. I stayed in 5 room (3 others besides myself) and room was clean. Llinens offered were professional laundered and I like new/perfect condition. Many noteable San Fransico sites I found to be within a 1-2 walkable distance. I will definitely stay here when I must travel SF for medical appointments, and recommend to others! Must appreciation to the hard-working staff.”
“Pros: Easy parking at the garage next-door, there’s not a bad seat in the house, seats are fairly roomy with a little more than average leg room in front, restrooms are decent, free water near the concession stand, people are friendly, acoustic sounds great.
Cons; no assigned seating, there are not very many things to eat at the concession stand, and if you are gluten-free, you are out of luck.
All in all, a fabulous venue. If you get an intermission, you could run back to your car for a snack just next-door.”
“I think they do a service to the community and beyond. Many of the up turned faces judge saying it's wrong and what they do here is a grind. A thankless job dealing with the task of helping out some very difficult and demanding people that many have abandoned and don't care about. A lot of volunteer hours go into their work and very few people simply say thank you for your service. Instead it's entitlement and give me this and give me that and ride remarks if they can't accommodate. So, PLEASE if you read this or you stop by take a second and say thank you and appreciate the service they do provide. This place does great work!!”
“I had two of my French Bulldogs spayed at AFC on 4/8/2024. To say the least, I was very nervous as brachiocephalic breeds, run a higher chance of complications with and from anesthesia. Because of this, most low cost spay/neuter clinics, including local shelters will not accept Frenchies or other brachiocephalic breeds. However, not only did AFC accept my girls, Dr. Goh and her team took EXCEPTIONAL care of both of them! The organization of the entire clinic is stellar, from scheduling (only done online around mid month, so may be a bit of a wait to get an appointment), to drop off and pick up! One of my girls, Paris, bounced right back to normal within 5-6 hrs after picking her up,(I believe a bit too soon), because of this, I was worried about my other girl, London, who took almost 2 days to start acting like herself again. Needless to say, Dr. Goh was absolutely caring, responsive and patient with my after hour concerns. I would like to mention that AFC is a nonprofit clinic who is accepting donations and also has a GoFundMe to help sponsor the move to their new location. If you are local to this wonderful organization, they can also use old newspapers and other types of donations.”

“We love Rocket Dog Rescue! They found an amazing foster mom to care for our newly-adopted dog JJ, until we were able to meet & bring him home. They’re a well run organization with people who love finding homes for dogs. Hope they get all the funding they need to continue.”

“We came to see a friend perform in Beautiful. What a wonderful show. We happened to be here on a warm evening, which was wonderful. I've been here on other nights when it gets cold when the sun goes down.In short, performances are always great, but dress for the weather to fully enjoy the experience.”
“Berkeley Hills Nursery School is a truly wonderful place for young children to grow, learn, and thrive. The nurturing environment, dedicated teachers, and play-based curriculum create an ideal setting for early childhood development. Families appreciate the strong sense of community and the emphasis on social-emotional learning.”
“Easy drive up and drop off. They do not accept oxygen tubing and said they have an overstock of emesis bags, so didn't want those either. I'm happy they exist.”
“Great place to find art supplies at an affordable price. Parking can be a bit difficult to find on the weekends, and sometimes items are a hit or miss. I would definitely recommend checking it out during the weekday for the best items”
“Of the social services I've encountered in the city, the people here are much better, actually trying, actually actively help people get employment (a friend at a shelter was helped to get a job despite criminal record, smoking weed, etc.), and likely actually help people get housing. Also, kind of a secret, but another org gives out lunch and dinner across the street, and they provide coffee n snacks throughout the day, making it a good place to recharge.”
“I think the square is very good. However, they do not protect their users from scammers, the way I feel they should. People are out here buying products, getting the completed products, and then asking for a refund and Square is giving it without even asking any questions.”
“I know I'm quite odd and very strange, but if you like them, you're appreciated for all the help. Greetings to San Francisco and whoever else may be receiving thanks.?❤️???”
“Storyline church came into my life at the perfect time when I was going through a lot of inner healing and growth in my relationship with God. There is a lot of warmth when you step into the walls of Storyline, one that I certainly wasn't used to from a previous church I went to for years. I prayed about finding a church like this and it almost seemed too good to be true to find it, but God was listening to my prayers and he delivered like He always does. The community is amazing and the church is continuously growing. Pastor Akeem loves to connect with each person who walks through the doors (which is hard to come by with other churches), and the leadership team goes above and beyond in how they connect with all the congregants. It's exciting to see where Storyline is headed this year and I'm so thankful to be here!”
“Got tested 2nd day of the new year. Community was very kind and supportive. Even the lady who took my tests was a nice conversationalist and made the process easier for me despite the tests being super new to me. 10/10 I’m going back again ??”
“I like this place. Lowers really takes care of people who need them help! I am special appriciate to Lower Christian Yost for help me a lot! Thanks to everybody.”
“I went to this book store with my mom. I'm not into books, but my mom is a big reader. I think all the books are donated or they bought. My mom bought three books, just for $4.50. Really cheap books. That's my 5 stars.”
“This place is tremendous and a MUST for anyone who is remotely interested in video games.
Brought my 11 year old son here and we spent a WHOLE afternoon learning about the games and playing them.
Mason, the Executive Director, is passionate about the history and design of the games. He was available for all questions throughout our visit and helped us a ton. He even led my son through a mini coding session on an Atari computer!
This place is super accessible by BART (only a 5 min walk from the 12th & Broadway station) AND there is a delicious food hall next door.
A+ (I would also recommend going on a W or TH, when it is less crowded).”
“These people have helped soooo many others. Never asking for anything in return.Well worth a trip to there office. See what you can do to help. Donate money, food, or just a few hours of your time. Everything helps there cause.”

“EDC staff are very professional and always go way beyond the call for helping tenants. This is the place to go for legal housing advice and help with the eviction process.”
“We took our broken microwave, flat screen and computer here! People are very helpful and friendly. It’s a bit hidden but really organized and an easy drop off point to e-waste! So grateful to have this place in the East Bay!”
“My second favorite place to eat in the city if you're homeless food's great, especially breakfast, breakfast is off the hook. I'm talking about cheesecake strawberry cheesecake frosting. All kinds of different cakes with oatmeal. Every single morning is awesome”

“10 year ago I stayed at Rachael House when I was at the end of my pregnancy and until my son was 6 months old. I will never forget the home and support I found there. My life is wildly different than it was then but Raphael House was the foundation gifted to me to start from SCRATCH. Advice: Put your head down, focus and take every single step and find every possible resource available and make choices in the right direction. You will succeed.”
“I've been going to Guardian for almost a year now - it's not only a place that offers an outstanding array of quality classes in Jiu Jitsu, Boxing and Kickboxing, it's also a wonderful community made of the nicest people you can imagine. The folks at Guardian Gym are passionate about their mission: the gym being a non profit, they offer free training to children, and it's a blessing to see kids thrive there and pursue their passion. Join guardian and don't also make a difference for yourself, but also for them!Edti:I've been going to Guardian for almost 4 years now. Guardian has always stepped up to deliver top notch Boxing, BJJ and Muay Thai classes to adults, and for FREE to Oakland youth with funding from adult memberships. The Guardian facilities are spacious, clean and well equipped, the instructors are extremely knowledgable, welcoming and supporting. They've really stepped up during COVID to still be able to provide some level of training in respect to health safety rules. If you join, you're not just joining a gym, but a community that helps each other grow, on and off the mats. If that is what you're looking for, join Guardian!”
“This is a members only charitable organisation. The members here are warm and friendly. All are volunteers including the bartenders. Good fraternal order to be part of.”
