We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Regency Inn in San Bruno, and we can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. If you're looking for great value, spotless comfort, and genuinely warm hospitality, this is the place to stay.

The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the rooms and service. It's hard to find accommodations this well-kept at such a good rate in the Bay Area!

The rooms were immaculate—modern, perfectly clean, and extremely comfortable. Everything was well-maintained, from the bedding to the bathrooms. It’s clear the staff takes real pride in keeping the rooms in top condition. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made it easy to get work done and stay connected throughout our stay.

One of the standout aspects was the attitude of the staff. Every team member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and refreshingly upbeat. There was a great sense of humor and warmth that made the whole environment feel welcoming and relaxed.

“Absolutely an amazing experience I have stayed here at Bayhill for close to 2 months and have been enthralled by the experience I have had here! Amazing staff, amazing housekeeping. Property is in the midst of upgrades and will be an absolutely stunning 3 star hotel in my opinion. Electric chargers in all parking spots. I highly recommend this hotel for its rate to quality ratio, this is a great stay for anyone long term or short. Rooms are very clean and modern! WiFi available and plenty within walking distance!

People in this industry are not looking for opulence, just simply a retreat to relax and recharge. Hotel Aura possesses all of the creature comforts that we utilize in a clean, comfortable environment. Operated by a friendly staff and all topped off with a fair price, what more could you ask for?”

“My wife and I stayed at the Nantucket Whale Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary and are so glad that we did. We are North Bay residents and wanted a low-key relaxing getaway and Half Moon Bay certainly fit the bill. While it was a holiday weekend and the weather was beautiful, activity in the heart of downtown was lively, but not overcrowded. Our stay at the NWI couldn't be more perfect. The staff was welcoming and hospitable, the room was spacious, comfortable, spotless and pristine throughout, and the breakfast was served fresh and delicious. Parking on-site or on the street was always available. Shopping and dining were just a short walk away, but far enough to provide lots of peace and quiet. The only time we needed to get in the car was to drive about a mile to the beach to watch the sunset. It's hard to believe this experience is just a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend the NWI, and will surely be back again.”

“Staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was free, so that's a plus. You can get ocean views or street view, dependent on price. The location is close enough to the oceans and places to eat. You have to pay parking if you park inside, free parking outside. The room was clean.”

“I stayed in a Terrace Room. Very comfortable, very clean and very quiet. The view of the golf course was pleasant and the deck was clean and comfortable. The patio below had games, a pool and a fire place with comfy seating. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable -- I have arthritis so that was important. There wasn't a microwave but I imagine you could ask for one.
I loved it and I hope to make a trip back to the area soon.”

“The best B&B I've been to. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I love being able to sit around and relax in my room for a bit when I'm on vacation, so having a room with nice seating and a beautiful gas fireplace was a delight. Our room had a nice table so one of the nights we were able to get pizza delivered. There's a mini fridge and microwave which was something I wish all hotels had! Being able to just bring back the leftovers of a tasty meal was really helpful.

We called in and got the celebration package that they had listed on their website, so when we arrived there were beautiful flowers, cakes and cupcakes, wine and sparkling juice all waiting for us!

Our room had a claw foot bath tub, which was nice but unfortunately the water didn't get very hot when filling it. Oh but this is the first time in my life I've had a robe provided by a hotel that was actually comfortable! Super soft! The towels and linens were really soft too!

We had a wonderful time and are planning on coming again in the future!

Walkability: So many great places to go, within such a short distance! In under 10 minutes you can walk to any of the nearby shops and restaurants. We spent most of our visit walking around!”

Our last visit here was in 2021, and we were impressed once again by the exceptional customer service - the staff are friendly, welcoming, and go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Check-in was seamless, quick, and pleasant. The room was spotlessly clean, modern. We also appreciated the reasonable parking space options, including the convenient underground parking. We always choose Best Western for its consistently high quality and fantastic amenities, especially the delicious morning breakfast, which is complimentary and available until 10 am - a great way to start our day and vacation. The hotel's attention to detail, comfortable beds, and quiet atmosphere make it an ideal choice for families, couples, and business travelers alike. “This is a hidden gem. The rooms could be cleaner, they are lacking in cleanliness, and breakfast is a pre-wrapped pastry from Costco and coffee. Get your breakfast somewhere else. But the location is wonderful. You can hear the ocean at night with your window open. There are hiking trails, a small beach ⛱️ in ready to go back. Please clean your rooms properly. Especially the bathroom...

Rooms: Housekeeping is taking shortcuts. I found a leftover shampoo bottle in the shower. The shower didn't look like it was scrubbed, just a quick wipe-down, maybe. The for was even dirty. The drain came out of the floor it you stepped in it.

Walkability: There are trails over some small hills on both sides of the hotel.”

“For what it is, it is a fantastic place to stay. I got a last minute room at around midnight after my flight was delayed, the man behind the counter was very helpful and had a room set up for me before I even got there. The room was very clean and was very nice for the price, and it being so close to the airport was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend staying if you need a cheap place near the airport”

We have traveled in the San Francisco area for 14 days and we have stayed at the very expensive hotel. This is absolutely the cheapest and nicest. A wonderful location on Strandvejen, very large and clean rooms, a nice terrace and very friendly staff. We borrowed wine glasses from the kitchen and bought our food in a delicious supermarket nearby and watched the most beautiful sunset.

“The Miramar Inn is one of the most inexpensive hotels in a very expensive area, yet exceeded high standards of cleanliness. Everything in the room had been properly maintained. I will be staying at this hotel again if Im working in the area.”

There is a water dispenser in the gym room and the lobby. Plus one as part of the ice machine.
Another conference room off the lobby that isn't used. Would be great for breakfast.
Wish the landscaping included picking litter a little more.

“Had an excellent 2 night stay at this hotel on a recent trip to San Francisco, staying after arriving & before flying out of SFO.

The immediate location around the hotel is nothing special, but you have a decent amount of options for food and amenities.
The hotel itself is very clean and up-to-date. Decent looking gym on the property, as well as a pool - didn't use either of them, but they looked well maintained.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable - pretty standard hotel fare, nothing out of the ordinary, but they served their purpose great. It's not a 5-star property by any means, but if you're looking for a comfy place to stay, this fits the bill. Want to throw out there, too, that this place has the best showers I've ever used in my life - the hot water & water pressure were amazing.

Outside of the immediate surroundings of the hotel, you cannot beat this location for the price of the staying here. You're about 10 minutes from SFO, and about 30 from downtown San Francisco. Extremely convenient.

You get a complimentary breakfast in the morning: usual spread of coffee, juice, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and various bagels, toasts, fruits, waffle maker and so on. Nothing special there, but the food was actually pretty tasty compared to some other places I've stayed.”

“The hotel was a bit stuffy and noisy, but my receptionist brother Emin helped us a lot when we were left without a hotel at night. We felt very comfortable in the two-room apartment. The only problem was that the floors were carpeted and the ventilation was very noisy. The room was generally comfortable and clean.”

“A good manager always reflects the quality of their team, and the Marriott at San Bruno is no exception. Ms.Rafia Hakim is a hands-on, professional, efficient, and humble manager who made our 10-day stay truly comforting even during a challenging time for our family.

We were in San Bruno from Virginia due to my son's surgery, and although the circumstances were tough, Ms. Hakim and her team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Employees like Tessie, Javier, Jude, Patricia, Tom and Mary Ann treated us like family. Their kindness, care, and compassion truly touched our hearts during the whole stay.

Thanks to their support, our difficult time felt a little lighter, and I'm happy to say that my son is doing much better now.

“The location is quite good. There are many restaurants across the street, including salted crispy chicken and roast duck?. The hotel comes with breakfast, which is not much but of good quality. No toothbrush. Basically it's neat and clean, but it's close to the airport and you can always hear the sound of taking off engines.”
