“The hotel is very small (11 rooms) and is simply wonderful. The staff is amazing. Upon checking in, we received 2 snickerdoodle cookies— soft and delicious and a latte! The staff person showed us how to get to the walking trail and the ocean. The breakfast is delicious. The hotel is 6 miles north of Half Moon Bay and is perfect for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be back!”
“This will be my 3rd visit here. I've stayed in different rooms, but if you go here, I'd recommend Pigeon Point, Pillar Point, or any other room with an ocean view. Some rooms have jacuzzi tubs in them.
It's a bit expensive, but it is very quaint and cozy. The rooms have fireplaces, and each night, they serve wine and have charcuterie boards, and cookies. Each morning, they bring breakfast to your room.
There is free parking. There are also great restaurants near the hotel. I usually go to Sam's Chowder House, but this time I'll try somewhere else.
The only drawback (but not really) is the lack of TV channels, and they don't have Smart TVs, so you can't even cast a show or movie. I suggest bringing your laptop and an HDMI cord if you want good / movie TV options. They only have local TV and the channels are very limited.
Otherwise, it is an overall great experience. I highly recommend Cypress Inn”

“This hotel is GREAT. I had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly generous and helpful. I arrived late in the evening from the airport very and they welcomed me graciously. The rooms were very cozy and clean. But the service really set this place apart. Very generous and helpful staff! DEFINITELY recommend.”

“Booked this hotel through Hotwire.com, the rooms were clean and well maintained. This place is close to the SFO airport was not that far from golden gate or Sausalito. This place has free parking and breakfast was included in stay. The breakfast we the same cheese omelette with juice, con flakes, hot waffle. This place is OK to stay for the overall price.”

“We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The room was very clean and we had a nice fenced in patio with grass for our dog. And the best part was the housekeeper, Eloisa (sp?). She was extremley kind and accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. “Clean and big rooms, beds fine and the people gave their best to help us.
I had to keep my bags safe for a couple of hours before 3 PM, the check-in time, and there was no way to achieve that without paying extra. Getting the room earlier only with extra money, keeping the bags as well, only with extra money. I would have expected more flexibility from the management, money is not everything.
I appreciated though the free parking.”

“The Ritz in half moon bay doesn’t disappoint. Our yearly visit for the Portuguese crap ciopino with friends. We stayed in a cottage overlooking the ocean. Second floor and what a glorious day it was. The cottage was beautiful. Foyer with half bathroom then living room with TV. Then through the French doors there’s another couch and bed. His and hers closet with huge steam shower, his and hers vanities and large soaker tub- absolutely gorgeous with marble floors throughout. There facility is stunning. Two incredible golf courses, pickleball, tennis courts and pool. The only bummer of the trip was the trail was closed due to construction. A large crane was preventing people from walking the trail and it was in the way during the sunset depending where you were.
If we go back we will want to make sure they don’t have construction going on. Other than that it was a great weekend trip.”

Pricing was fair, and they offered a military discount. Absolutely, I would recommend and will definitely stay here again. Their cocktail hour is super fun with great staff.”
“Great mini-vacation down from the city. Good price for a very clean, comfortable room, feet away from the crashing waves of Rockaway Beach. Nick's restaurant is right next door where I ate every
meal (grilled crab sandwich with avocado, wow), and made friends with the bartenders that treated me like I had been a regular for years. They even have live music and dancing on the weekends. That was very amusing and enjoyable.
The entire experience was a very nice, relaxing and reasonable get-away for us city drudges. Did wish for a microwave in the room, but no big deal.
Can't wait to come back for a longer stay.”

“Honestly one of the coolest Fairfields you could stay at. It's right there by the beach and the vibes are great. The service here is really amazing and I always get great service from the staff with anything I need. The rooms are a little dated, but other than that it's truly a great stay every time I come here. If I need anywhere to stay just for a quick getaway or anything like that, I always look here first. Definitely recommend.”

“After a full day exploring the Redwoods in Big Basin, we drove up to the Oceanfront Inn and stayed in the Porto room. The beachfront view was outstanding. We ended up spending most of our time on the balcony watching people and dogs walk the beach. Quiet, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend and hope to return someday.”
“I stayed in a Terrace Room. Very comfortable, very clean and very quiet. The view of the golf course was pleasant and the deck was clean and comfortable. The patio below had games, a pool and a fire place with comfy seating. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable -- I have arthritis so that was important. There wasn't a microwave but I imagine you could ask for one.
I loved it and I hope to make a trip back to the area soon.”
“Bay Landing is a serviceable hotel that appears to cater primarily to travelers coming from, or going to, nearby San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
First and foremost, the staff were excellent from beginning to end. This is one of the big selling points for the location.
Additionally, the provided breakfast had robust options both hot and cold. There was a steady stream of breakfasters, enough so that when my wife came down a bit later, she needed to sit outside of the designated dining area, which seemed to be permissible.
The room itself was clean, and the size was as expected. The one significant downside was here: The room seemed very tired, and in need a glow up. The decorations and furniture were dated, which is fine, but there were multiple areas of noticeable wear and, most especially, peeling wallpaper. This was, of course, most prevalent in the bathroom, but not limited to that section.
The hotel itself is located along the SF Bay south of the airport. The area has a mixed combo of other hotels, industrial parks, and some restaurants nearby (highly-recommend New England Lobster Market & Eatery a bit up the road).
Overall, the additional amenities, quality of service, and relatively decent cost (for the area) make this a nice option for the traveller passing through, or the tourist who won't be spending a lot of time in their room.”
“This is a nice little gem in the heart of the penninsula!! When we walked in we were greeted by a lovely and very friendly staff. Our room was more than functional. I had a desk to work at and a large TV to watch. Overall a great stay!!!”
“The hotel is in a very convenient location, and the facilities are very new.
The only downside is that the breakfast area has limited seating, so it can get a bit crowded during busy times.

We liked the touch of the heated flooring in the bathroom and the view we had of the ocean.
Close to shops and a walking track right by the ocean.
Communicating with staff was slightly frustrating as questions were asked in an email and only some questions were answered in the response so had to go back again. I sent another email upon check out about returning our late check out fee charged and still yet to receive a response.”

“This is just the cutest unique inn. The rooms are sweet and eclectic. They have real coffee with real mugs n glassware. A wine key and bucket. Water in multiple places. Totally pet friendly. Our room was attached to a shared courtyard which provided extra space to sit and relax. Hands down would stay again. If you can't do stairs this isn't the place for you also no AC but the cool nights with the fan and open window were wonderful. Everything is so well though out and there is a wonderful italian restaurant right next door.”

“My room was next to the street so rather noisy. But the room was nice and clean and the desk was friendly and accommodating when I asked for a blanket. DO NOT choose the room service though...it took 1 1/2 hrs to get my food and 3 calls. It was delivered to the door with NO knock...my paste and garlic bread were cold. I was glad for the microwave in the room!”

Considering we were checking in so late, he was still able to find us what we need, all the while being so patient, informative, and professional!! “Perfect location if you need last night stay before flying out of SFO. The room was very big with a small kitchen, separate living room and bedroom (open solution) with a separate TV for bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised concerning the price was decent and rating of course takes price into consideration.
You will have airplane traffic over the hotel, but I slept well.”

“I was pleasantly surprised. It was a very nice room that I managed to find the day of. It was close, decent walk to a mall and shopping plaza. It’s located in a very quiet, nice, clean area so felt very safe walking around all day and night. My only con was even though the room was ready before 3pm, there was still a charge if we wanted to check in early. That and the air quality in the room wasn’t that great. I have a very sensitive body and usually sleep with windows open to allow for fresh air to circulate. I couldn’t do that here and I woke up with a stuffy nose and sneezing. Other than that, great service and used the free shuttle to the airport”

“This is a gem!! Super clean and recently remodeled and painted in the rooms. Sweet ocean vibe decor. A coffee shop on the corner and within walking distance to Pillar Point Harbor (with wonderful restraurants) and the walking path following the coast line. Very very reasonably priced! Would definately recommend!”
