I went in looking for a certain baseball bat and found it. Received a great deal on a demo bat. Friendly staff offered insurance that I would have bought had it been a composite or two piece.
Edit: The bat is a composite and the salesperson had assure me it was not. Now I wish I had purchase insurance on it.

Enormous store but lacking staff and coordination. Workers were super friendly but overwhelmed. It continues to surprise me on how this store stays open (probably because of the jacked up prices). Golf and athletic shoe departments never have employees manning the station. Lines at the register, people queued up looking for shoes. Short this stock! No better example of the downfall of brick-n-mortar.

Bought a bat protection plan . Bat broke claim is denied due to crack being longer than 3 inches . So do not buy extended bat warranties .

Had to run in and grab something for an event and this girl Vanessa helped my friend and I so kindly. All around the store trying to figure it out. She absolutely rocks 10/10 promote her.

Went it to buy a baseball helmet yesterday and found one in my size but it had the chin guard on the left side when i needed it on the right side. I found another helmet the same color but bigger size with a right chin guard and went around asking employees if it was possible to switch the chin guards around and they told me no, 1 star review to those employees. Went back to look for another helmet and there i asked another employee working in that department and he said if you have a screw driver on you yea. I asked if i could borrow a screwdriver and he brought me one but it didn't work. He gave me the idea to go buy a swiss army multi tool and use the screwdriver on that. I went to go buy it and it worked! Joel was the worker, very nice and helped through the whole situation. Amazing worker dealing with multiple people being the only one there in that section and with me dealing with the helmet.

I went to get my kid baseball socks. They didn’t have the right size on the rack. I asked an associate named Joel to check if there were any pairs in the back. Joel went WAY above and beyond to help, spending significant time to help us find the right socks for my son. Joel showed exemplary customer service. Very impressed.

Firstly, their online chat is perfect! Yet in person, itt is a big store, but they lied about the stock numbers (I was told 4 footballs in stocks, and they could only find 2). The girl who served me at the counter had some attitude when I asked to use my discount of 10% and then to deflate the ball in order to take on my flight. It was an expensive purchase. Overall the store felt underwhelming and actually expensive. Not a lot of sale... definitely look around at competitors.

Nice looking store, good location, convenient to get to. It also has a good selection of mens clothing. This location is not Veteran friendly like the Torrance store is. If you are a Veteran, skip this store and go to Torrance, where you will get a Veterans discount on regular days. Not just on Veterans Day. I spent over $300.00 today and asked for a Veterans discount only to be told Dicks does not offer one, except for on Veterans Day. Most of us defended this country for more than ONE day. We deserve better. Other than that, the personnel were lovely and very helpful.
