“Nobody has a great day when their car gets a flat tire, but I swear my day was made going to Normandie Tire Shop. Quick and efficient service, first and foremost. It took maybe thirty minutes in and out. But that time flew by even faster because the owner was so charming! I loved hearing about his wonderful wife and daughter - so much pride and care for this family owned and run business. Of course Charlie the cat didn't hurt either, such a handsome gentleman! But, more importantly for this review, if you come here you get incredible service with excellent communication. They saw the nail, they gave me my options and I never felt pushed or upsold. The used tire I needed was a very, very reasonable price. And I got to wait in a tire shop that could easily be a gorgeous plant store. I hope I don't have to get a new tire or a patch any time soon, but I wouldn't go anywhere else to fix it!”

“Took my 2008 GX470 in for upper and lower control arm install (supplied my own) for an aftermarket lift. They did the install and allinment in 2 hours! Everything looks great and the Lexus is tracking better than before. Highly recommend and will be coming back in soon for other parts install. Fair pricing, excellent service, and will recommend.
Update. After taking two other vehicles to Central Tire. Partners Jetta needed new tires and they had the best price in town, and got it done in 45mins. New to us Tundra needed a donkey 6 inch lift kit removed and put back to stock. The guys CRUSHED it and even sourced dealer only parts for the complete suspension rebuild. Very happy with this shop and the guys are awesome!”

I've been in LA for 3 years, and have had trouble keeping my car clean. The notoriously hard water had accumulated spots on my windows, making everything hard to see.
26th was recommended by my mechanic, and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. They cleaned my Subi top to bottom and put such a perfect polish on, looks like I just rolled off the showroom floor. They even cleaned off the exhaust tips and the bike rack!
I'm highly impressed with the job and attention to detail, I was hard pressed to find even a little bit of dust in a crack. Someone even found a glove I thought I'd lost and put it in the door for me.
I will be a repeat customer in the future, I am one happy person today.”

“I think this is a pretty above average tire and lube shop. Owner is pretty personable. The staff aren’t the friendliest or most attentive but they seem to do honest work. Wouldn’t be hard for the staff to simply say hi or “how can I help you” when you arrive but they do work quickly here and are probably just focused on servicing cars.
They first did an alignment for me on a 2020
Hyundai I bought used which had major misalignment issues causing uneven tire wear. Pricing was good and the car drives fine. Only time will tell if tires are wearing evenly.
More recently, I had a brake job done on my 2016 Subaru. They replaced my brake discs, installed new pads and did a brake fluid flush.
Prices (mainly labor given I bought my own parts) were comparable to others in the area but 20% cheaper than dealers. That said, my brake fluid was dirty within 9 months and had to be replaced again. Might be something caused by the install, the fluid they used or maybe the environment…but we really don’t drive the car that much. The brakes and pads were installed fine though.
Personally, I will probably try another shop out for brake work next time, just to see if there’s improvement.
On tires, their prices are high. I got a quote from them on Yokohama’s for both of my cars and it was hundreds higher in total. To be fair, it’s hard to compete as a single “mom & pop” shop. America’s Tire (and Tire Rack online, both owned by the Discount Tire) is the absolute best local place to buy tires, though they’re in Torrance. Worth the drive down as it’s significantly cheaper with the largest inventory on hand and highest level of service.
I think it’s worth coming here if you live close by given the convenience. They work pretty efficiently and I never had to wait too long for my car. For my jobs, I’d go grab a coffee or lunch down Washington and my car would usually be done within a couple of hours.”
“First time bringing my vehicle here after an unfortunate and unexpected event happed around July 03. My 2021 Tacoma was melted and I honestly thought it wasn’t repairable since I’ve never seen this.
After going back and forth with my insurance and the shop the Tacoma is back; and it looks like nothing had happened in the first place!
Paint job matches, truck looks good as new, and I don’t even remember what was damaged in the first place because they fixed it up so well!
The shop also was very attentive and quick with the truck! It only took a bit because of insurance but that’s on the insurance end. The shop is also very responsive, friendly, and very patient especially within the first couple weeks of me calling a lot.
Overall, great shop, people, owner, etc. I will come back here again for other vehicle needs when needed!”

“I brought my 2006 Ford Econoline to Globe Tire because my front end was making knocking noises. I had been told by 2 other garages that there was no issue and everything looked great (how this is possible, I have no idea). I knew there was an issue because I could see all the bushings were cracked and something was leaking near my front driver's side tire. One of my neighbors said they did great work and recommended I check them out. To say they delivered is an understatement! Not only did they take me in without an appointment but they also had their mechanic go on a test ride with me so he could hear the issue. They immediately took my vehicle onto the lift and had a diagnosis within 15 minutes. They gave me a very reasonable quote and said they'd call when it was ready. They called later in the afternoon to let me know they were still waiting on a few parts but expected to be finished the next day. Everything was ready the next day, just as they said. And the knocking noise was fixed! It turned out to be a really big job and required a lot of the front end to be replaced, but they knocked it out of the park! The entire experience was amazing. Everyone was very professional and friendly. They took their time explaining what needed to be repaired and they offered to split up the repairs over time to make it more affordable. They even gave me a discount to help with the cost. I can't say enough about this shop. I was genuinely caught off guard by their professionalism, quality of work, and customer service. Thank you to everyone at Globe Tire!! You now have a new lifelong customer!”
