Don't go to that place, the woman there is very rude and lacks education with everyone. You can go there any day of the week, several people are being mistreated by a woman who works at the cash register.

I just went to priority mail a document. I wanted it certified so that I knew that recipient got it. After I paid for it she tells me there is two tracking numbers. I asked why there was two, she tells me the priority mail comes with a free tracking number. She gets upset with me as if I should know this. It became a rude, upsetting situation. I am not a trained postal worker, she should have told me beforehand that I didn’t need to certify it. Bad customer service.

I realize about occasional staffing problems, Equipment fails, Electricity outages. But walking up twice in a month to a closed Post Office in the middle of the weekday is crazy. A elderly lady asked where could she go as we read the closed sign. Please close this location if its going to be like this. At least we will know its not available.

Do NOT put our mail in the drop box. Our mailed checks were stolen from the drop box, two times!
After we realized the problem is with this post office, USPS said they are aware of it. And even warn us NOT to put mail in drop box. What?!
As we know, since last year, the drop box at this post office was reduced from 2 to 1, so mail are even more stuffed in the drop box.
Of course, USPS can choose different ways to improve: a bright light above the drop box, change to a newer version so the sticky stick cannot go into the dropbox. Or act on law enforcement.
USPS has a law enforcement division in Oakland. But, they chose: do nothing about this repeating problem.
So, our neighbors, take our mail inside the post office, or send payments outside the USPS system.
It is a place for fraud at this time.

BEWARE this post office hire blind or bunch of theifs postman. Told me my package was delivered in my mailbox. I never received my items it happened to me twice in few months.

Every time my regular carrier is being covered by someone else I notice that the job isn't being done. Anything from the weekly ads not being delivered (4weeks in a row now) to straight up driving through the neighborhood without stopping at a single house on my block. I called the post office 5 times today to inquire about it and 5 times it rang a bunch of times, then a series of beeps and finally disconnected. I highly doubt that anyone will care about any of this, but I do.

Saturday morning they are supposed to open at 7:00 it is now 7:56 still not open it is not a holiday it's to go into the lobby to check PO box now it's 8:00 not open for regular business hours we'rstill not open for regular business

This is the worse , worse US postal office I have ever seen. most of the person who works in this facility in front desk, are awful and horrible. Most of them disrespectful to everyone . No matter Yang or senior, . they do not care about anybody any kind of humans.

I lost my mailbox key and needed to have replaced. The El Sobrante branch has gone out of its way to help and get our mail. Thanks for all the help

Just FYI for folks: This location may show up as a self-service kiosk open until 7pm on Saturdays. As of July 2022, it closes at 5pm, and the Self-Service station is NOT accessible at all.
