“I am not a member of the Elks Club. I came here on a Sunday afternoon to hear a band presentation by the New Orleans Jazz Club of Northern California. They put a concert on once a month featuring different bands. Admission for nonmembers was $12.00. Between sets, there was a jam session. The venue is spacious there is a dance floor and a full bar. They were also serving food. There is also a good-sized parking lot.Looking at the information I found it seems that you can rent the hall for events. If I was planning on a reception or some other event I would consider this venue.”

“My coworkers and I decided to celebrate my birthday at Assemble Kitchen during our lunch break and it was a decision we didn't regret. The service was exceptionally warm and friendly, with a special mention to all the bilingual staff who went above and beyond to make our lunch memorable. Their thoughtful gesture of presenting a beautiful cake and singing happy birthday truly touched my heart.I opted for the chicken pot pie, and it was a culinary delight, bursting with flavor. My coworkers also enjoyed their meals immensely, each dish being a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. ? ?? The restaurant's spacious, open layout exuded a trendy warehouse vibe, adding to the overall dining experience.I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Assemble Kitchen to explore more of their enticing menu offerings. “Only came once for some hotdogs and beer. The beer was cheep and cold and the hotdogs were hot and free! On their wall, they post a flyer where you can sign up for weekly text of all of their events. On the last Saturday of every month you can catch Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Club where they'll usually have pastries and hot coffee. If you're a veteran, I recommend signing up for FREE fly fishing instruction and outings!”

“Accidentally stumbled upon this place and were surprised. It is a place near the water where houseboats and yachts are moored. We saw goats in an enclosure and also many large beautiful sculptures. It is a very atmospheric place. We had a good time. At the same time, we noticed that there is a cafe with live music on the pier.”

“We have visited a number of great wineries in Napa, and Israel, but if you would like to experience the best explanation of the process by some of the warmest and most welcoming wine makers then check out Covenant Wines! We spent a beautiful afternoon with their team led by Managing Director, Sagie Kleinlerer, who is most knowledgeable. I was especially interested in the challenges posed by climate change. We also met the owners who were also very welcoming. If you are interested in how the best wines are made and want to spend an enjoyable and very informative afternoon then you should definitely visit and taste some of the best wines produced today!!”

“We were invited to a very large wedding reception. Wow can this place fit a few people. They have a stage that fit a full mariachi band. I don't know if the sound system is already at the venue or the band brought the sound system but it was loud as all hell in here. There was plenty of room for the dance floor and all of the tables for everyone to eat. Outside there are lovely gardens and seats for mingling inside and out.It was a beautiful wedding reception we attended. If you're looking for nice, simple venue for a receptions check this place out. Its in a quiet quaint little town. You may just like it.”

“Well off the beaten path but still close to home for us. Food, service and ambience were excellent but our bottle of Cabernet was REALLY cold. Maybe keep some warm decanters ready? I can't warm up anything with my hands because I have Reynaud's syndrome. Parking area potholes were DEEP and our car bottomed out twice while leaving. Somebody should truck in some gravel, or something, or make sure you go in an SUV or something else with plenty of ground clearance, if street parking is all taken.”

“Went to an ICF Dinner tonight at the Galileo the event was wonderful the company was great and the food was wonderful. The club has only change a bit over the last 48 years, when my bride's Dad decided we were going have our wedding reception at your club. Well we have not been back until today and it was a warm wonderful experience just like the reception we had. Thank you for keeping our Italian Heritage alive.”

We spoke with Joanne and after seeing the venue + touring, we knew it was where we wanted to get married there.- Loved the hanging lights all throughout the yard- Venue is a good mix of indoor and outdoor. Very spacious. Our guests really loved the venue as well - You have the freedom to choose your own vendors without an outside vendor fee. - Joanne is very helpful and responsive throughout the planning process and will even have suggestions! - A big parking lot”

“I visited Urban Adamah for a weekend retreat and had a very positive experience! Considering I was staying on a farm, I was not expecting the accommodations to be so nice, that's for sure. The rooms had bunk beds, but they were study and relatively comfortable, with outlets by every bed. The bathrooms were very modern and clean, as well. I really enjoyed exploring the property and playing with the goats! It felt very safe staying here, as they locked the front gate most of the time, especially overnight. The staff here were also great and dedicated to the success of the farm. Shoutout to Jesse for cooking up some delicious food all weekend! I will definitely leave Urban Adamah feeling refreshed and rejuvenated! Highly recommend coming to the farm to learn more.”

“This bar (and music venue) comes well-stocked with a diverse selection of craft beer and rotating cocktails. It's roomy and spacious, with seating to accommodate large parties. The kitchen specializes in tasty comfort food. Think burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips, and things that stick to your ribs. They do have a couple vegetarian options, if that's a concern. You order your food at the bar, and staff brings it to your table. Prices for the food are very reasonable. Most of the money you'll spend here will apply to the drinks. If you see a show here, it's a standing-only venue, though staff can make special accommodation for seats if you are injured or have a disability if you notify them ahead of time. They have a bar in the back, if you want a drink during the show. The sound system is great.”

“It's been a long time since my last time in Allegro Ballroom, I used to go there every Sunday night about 20 years ago, lol, and I had a blast every single time, there were always a lot of good dancers attending and I used to dance the night. Tonight was my first time in its new location, and even it's a bit smaller than the older place, it is still a good place to go for dancing Salsa and Bachata in a Sunday night, with a little more people would be great, I'm going to keep going every Sunday, hopefully it gets better eith the time. I highly recommend this place.”

“Marc and team catered our wedding at the Brazilian Room, and we were extremely happy with both the planning process and the food/support on the day itself. The Arlington team are clearly pros at working in the Brazilian room - and had everything set up quickly and efficiently day-of - even though we had a shorter evening slot. The food was very good (especially the grilled salmon and pesto pasta) - everyone went back for seconds and we got many compliments! Marc was transparent and easy to work with throughout, and we thought pricing was reasonable compared to other vendors we looked at. Would highly recommend!!”

“Went there about 4 or 5 years ago to do a ghost hunt. The people that work at the hall were very friendly and welcoming. The hall has a wonderfull history and I would like to visit here again. I still wonder what those odd boxes with numbers on them built into the wall was used for, no one there knew.”

“As many of you know, the Golden Gate Fields is going to be closing their door permanently. This is what drove us to visit the racetrack. We stayed for 3 races. Got there early to get the lay of the land. Look for parking ($10 cash), pay for admission ($5 cash), purchase a program ($6 cash). We bought some food from the snack booth. As a vegetarian, there were some options, such as muffin, cookies, nachos, popcorn and I can't remember. I had a muffin and cup of hot tea. Oh there is a bar in the middle of the building and downstairs. We placed our bets with a human. You can opt for the machines. A nice lady told me since we're newbies, to utilize the staff. Our bet taker lady was very nice. We did some research on how you place a bet. You say the horse number of which race, and the style you want to bid, Win, Place or Show. Each race is 30 minutes apart.I loved the view of the racetrack, so well maintained. We sat in a box, there isn't reserved seating. Just go wherever you wish. We explored the different levels. My favorite was watching the horses being brought into the stables, they are so beautiful!!!! Watching the jockeys be lifted onto their horse, like they are light as air. Believe it or not, I saw little kids here, that were having fun. This can be a family friendly environment. We ended watching our last race on the ground level. That was exhilarating. So close to the action. We want to go back again, I hope that we do. There were like 5 more races that day, but we wanted to beat Bay Bridge traffic. Please support this local legend before it is made into most likely housing. Jack Kerouac wrote about going to races here. I'm sure there are other historical writings of this classic venue.”
