“I know this place has some bad reviews, but you shouldn't always believe everything you read. I've learned that you have to make your own judgements and opinions and person/place/thing. With this Said I do recommend this place. After calling one after the other in Google maps finally after10+ calls they were able to get me a same day appointment and take me in as a new patient. I had started to really get upset with every other vet telling me either they are all booked up or that they are not taking new clients. My own vet wouldn't even get me In. The vets whole crew although they do look fresh out of school are still very knowledgeable and they might lack experience but hey give them a chance so that they can. I mean I did and I don't regret it”
“The staff at Thornhill pet hospital is the best!! Theres something really special about this place. Dr.Yang and Alicia, take great pride in the work that they do. They keep me informed of the care they give to my dogs, and i totally trust their judgement and decisions. They strangely have a special connection with the animals, which makes their care that much better. Ive taken all my dogs to Thornhill pet hospital and wouldnt even consider any other veterinarian.”

I have had the good fortune of seeing Dr. Gurley, Dr. Grant, and Dr. Lie. All are kind, caring, and terrifically knowledgeable. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.”

Empathy & hospitality at it's finest....
Maitexa-was the 1st person to greet me and because of her she made my day. Very kind, started conversations and her smile was pure. Mazie Mae was well taken care of by the Dr's. Dr. Rothstein was very good with Mazie, even listening to my last appointment with Dr. Kim, she was fantastic. She didn't make me rush the conversations & didn't rush the process
Left a place in El Cerrito after my senior cat was diagnosed with cancer, they lack empathy during our time. Empathy is so important to have and just feel Abby has that”

Drs. Pierson and Tam have helped ease my Trixie into her matronly years, keeping under control later-life conditions like dry eye and declining mobility.
I am getting to the age when I wish the benefits of my own healthcare providers were as predictably positive as those enjoyed by my little friends. As always, we dog lovers strive to provide to our canine companions the things we cannot always get for ourselves.”

“I've been taking my dog to Claremont Vet since I adopted him five years ago. He is a pup with a lot of medical issues and health challenges, and has been to Claremont Vet at least a dozen times (maybe even close to two dozen) for both urgent care and regular visits. We've most often seen Dr. MacDonald (who we love) but have seen all the providers at one point or another. The staff are so compassionate, professional, and helpful. The doctors are exceptional with their knowledge, care towards my pup, and their patience with my questions. I always feel like my pup (and myself!) are in excellent hands with the team. And I love that I'm supporting a woman owned small businesses. I've had to take my pup in to ER vets elsewhere a few times and (understanding there's a vet shortage and everyone in the field is worked to the bone), I have always walked away feeling so grateful that Claremont Vet is my primary provider and offers such great care. I could not recommend Claremont Vet more and I will certainly bring future pets here.”

“I had two of my French Bulldogs spayed at AFC on 4/8/2024. To say the least, I was very nervous as brachiocephalic breeds, run a higher chance of complications with and from anesthesia. Because of this, most low cost spay/neuter clinics, including local shelters will not accept Frenchies or other brachiocephalic breeds. However, not only did AFC accept my girls, Dr. Goh and her team took EXCEPTIONAL care of both of them! The organization of the entire clinic is stellar, from scheduling (only done online around mid month, so may be a bit of a wait to get an appointment), to drop off and pick up! One of my girls, Paris, bounced right back to normal within 5-6 hrs after picking her up,(I believe a bit too soon), because of this, I was worried about my other girl, London, who took almost 2 days to start acting like herself again. Needless to say, Dr. Goh was absolutely caring, responsive and patient with my after hour concerns. I would like to mention that AFC is a nonprofit clinic who is accepting donations and also has a GoFundMe to help sponsor the move to their new location. If you are local to this wonderful organization, they can also use old newspapers and other types of donations.”

Saw my cat, did a little surgery to his front leg, he healed and was so much happier as was I in finding this gem of a place hidden in Vallejo. It was a cold call, first place I called and they found me an appointment and all was great. For sure coming back with my other cat now. Love this place.”

“Pet Vet is an awesome resource and I recommend it to anyone in the area with pets. I first started shopping here because the flea meds were cheaper than at my vet's. There's a great selection of food and supplies (some hard to find) and you can get a lot of normally "prescription only" items. Some require a clinic visit but others like sub-q bags are easily available.”
“This review is for Amy Pierre who practices acupressure at All Paws. I have known Amy for almost one year and she has worked her magic on my senior dog many times. She is professional, personable and has a special connection with animals as well as an ability to translate what the dog is experiencing to the guardian in lay terms--much appreciated for my unscientific mind. My dog definitely considers her to be one of his best friends and goes bonkers when he sees her. That's a sure sign that she's doing something right!”

“I originally had an appointment for July 3, 2025 because they were fully booked until then. I had asked Bailey if she could call me if they had any cancellations. She called me the next morning, June 21, to say they had a 9 AM opening and could see Jasper then. Kim, the veterinary assistant, was wonderful with Jasper. Dr. Machowski was also great. He explained what Jasper‘s symptoms could possibly mean and was very good with him. Overall, Jasper has had excellent care at this clinic and the staff is wonderful.”
“For about 12 years now Kensington Vet Hospital has kept my cat (curled up next to me in my computer chair) in good health. He's happy, I'm happy. Fees have been very reasonable for routine care. Some pricey meds, but that's out of the vet's control. Don't know where else I would go, or why I would want to.”
