“I asked for a recommendation for a smooth and peaty Scotch whisky, and the bartender nailed it. The Scotch whisky he recommended was outstanding. It had a smoky, peaty profile with a velvety finish. Truly a connoisseur's delight! The price was fair for a top-shelf Scotch of this quality. I'll be savoring this bottle for special occasions.”

“This is a Hidden gem if you are looking for a great selection of wine and spirits. They will host tastings of wine and bourbons from time to time. Their selection seems to be growing each time we go in there. You would not think of this type of a selection inside a gas station. It’s a must stop every time we are passing through to get to Sacramento! Lori is awesome!! They will even have some hard to find bourbons from time to time”

“I was trying to inquire about some Belgian beer called Grimbergen from Bevmo and I asked a worker there about it and the first response was never seen it in my life ever and that doesn't make any sense since he literally saw it on my phone since I had a photo of it. All he had to say was “ that's the first time I've seen this I don't carry it in my store” because apparently he was the manager, and he had long black hair and glasses and wore a black mask. So I decided to walk up to the register and try to inquire about it again ,but found out later he was the manager, and then he finally decided to help me once since I was trying to inquire if they carried it at all , and I did apologize if I upset him in anyway and he replied “ no problem” but he wasn't even looking at my direction when talking to me , he was just walking away while talking so the manager there in my humble opinion doesn't seem to want to deal with people at all, even though I was not rude. Keep in mind this was after the fact I bought from his store two cases of French beer, so it’s not as if I was some guy who didn’t even bother to give his store honest and polite business . I will see if their competitors carry the beer that I bought. If not then I’ll try to stay clear of him since my first experience with this manager shows he is just angry with me for whatever reason , even though I never used profanity at him or raised my voice once , and if you are the manager who I dealt with and you are reading this , please don’t be upset all the time , to a degree I can identify with your anger, especially when you’re going through stuff maybe something personal or perhaps business related but if I’m not the bane of your anger, don’t take it out on me or anyone else please . UPDATE : I was given a phone call by a supervisor named Jamie and he made it right and apologized for what happened and he wants me to be a customer with him still, I will gladly try to support his store as much as I can and look forward to doing so, that's why I bumping the 2 star to a 4 :]”

“I recently found this place off an Instagram ad. I wanted to find a place that makes drinks in a cup or a zip-lock bag. I've been seeing these ads online where you can go in and grab a whole drink. Contains everything you need to make a drink in a cup. This place definitely has beer/drinks I have not seen in stores. Theres so much to look at!! Staff is pretty friendly and I keep telling them how I love that this store is around the corner. They did not have a Yelp page so I wanted to make one for them. “I used to live in Del Palo Heights, where I had no shame walking into any given liquor store and buying the most degenerate of alcoholic beverages(i.e. 4lokos, steel reserve), at any day of the week. For some reason, I feel shame and guilt buying cheap alcohol in Elk Grove. However, this Laguna Mart maintains a South Sac vibe, which puts my deplorable mind at ease. Plus, the OG who works there on Sunday nights, doesn't charge for the bag!”
