“We unfortunately lost our labrador just before Christmas and decided to schedule a visit with Homeward Bound to adopt a new family member. They did a great job not only researching me and my family's surroundings to make sure that the dog is going to be safe but also asked what we were looking for in a companion. When we arrived, we were met by a gentleman who greeted us and showed us the board of rescues that were available but also asked what interested us and would be best for our family. We gave him some perameters of what we desired and he went down the list and gave us suggestions. He gave us 2 males and 2 females to look at and brought us out to the pen to meet them one by one and gave us some time with them. He also explained why there were rescued and any tendencies they may have. We loved them all but the last one was it, Pericles...he was so calm, didn't bark at other dogs walking by, fetched and wanted to play. We decided on him, brought him home and this guy is beyond spoiled to the point he even sleeps in our bed....actually he decided that, not us...LOL We love him to pieces, he's adjusted well and we're both learning each other's tendencies and such. I highly recommend Homeward Bound to anyone looking to rescue a pup!”

“So my fiancé and I stopped off in the shopping center for lunch. We saw Ben’s last time and decided to stop in after we ate . BOY. We’re we impressed . By far the nicest and most Knowledgeable staff I have encountered . We were so impressed we brought our boy Preacher back to meet the staff the same day, and to use their state of the art self washing station that has a sanitary clean cycle after each use .Largest selection of raw diet food I have ever seen at a brick and mortar store . After we finish our boys kibble we will be switching him over to raw!P.S. if you are within 5 be miles , they will deliver your online orders to you !”

“So excited I found Healthy Hounds Kitchen. I've had my 2 dogs on The Farmers Dog for a while but wanted to find a local fresh human grade place nearby and I stumbled across Healthy Hounds driving around so I had to pop in and see what was offered. Let's just say I am sold and will be regular customer. Customer service was spot on and the selection of food to pick from is excellent. I highly recommend stopping by you too I'm sure will become a regular customer for your furbabies.”

“Went in today on an impulsive mindset of getting a few chicks to eventually have my own eggs at home. The staff were really educational when asking which chicks would be best for what I wanted, which is eventually having my own eggs lol, and helped us select food and other beginners items that we needed. I saw another customer review on here that said the staff checked the chicks that were selected before having you buy them and I don't recall seeing the staff check them before putting in a box for me. Other than that, today is day 1 and I'm super excited!”

“After an illness kept my girl from having her regular groom, she quickly turned into a matted mess. Once she was well, I began calling around to see if anyone could take her in at the last minute, because she was really matting out of control.Luckily, a call to Roy got my little Maltese in this salon within an hour, and she came out looking lovely. I was worried she'd come out bald, but she actually has a puppy cut and she even caught the eye of a tow truck driver when we were on our way home. He gave her a big smile and a thumbs-up.She's home now on her favorite blanket resting happily. Thank you Roy! You have a new customer for a long as we have this sweet little girl with us. ”

“GROOMING SERVICE - Ash took care of my special needs dog with grooming and she loved it. She was very afraid just coming from a shelter and she did so great with Ash. We have moved out of town and are unable to continue service. Ash did a great job and communicates very clearly and seems to have a great repour with animal friends. The entire grooming staff was great and made a very calm and inviting atmosphere.STORE - I lived very close to this store and bought many things, they even took some things back without any issues. Everyone was really nice and courteous. There were crates in the isle sometimes but I believe the store does a lot of business and restocks often. 5 stars for everyone!”

“I took my dog here for her first-time grooming experience. She is 3 years old, but I always cut her nails at home. She had this back toenail that I could never get to very well. I decided to take her here. They were very gentle with her and it only took them 15 minutes. The guy cutting her nails was absolutely fantastic with her. All the workers there were kind and friendly. My dog came out more calm than she went in (she has anxiety), and her nails were cut better than I could cut them. I'll definitely be going back :)”

“Our kids wanted a hamster, so we went to PetSmart on 1738 Watt Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825. A kind lady, Candie, was awesome. She explained everything to us and told us many helpful facts, that it is better not to buy a pair of hamsters because after a while they can eat each other. She let us pet all hamsters and one bit her. She showed us chinchillas, explained their behavior, and let us pet them as well. Then, because our son was hesitating what to take and decided to see cats in their store, Candie let us pet all cats. We left the store completely satisfied with our experience there and with knowledge we got from Candie.So, now we are waiting for our kids' decision about what pet to choose.”

“I loved pet stores. PetSmart in Natomas is one of the stores I'll visit when I am in the area. The store is pretty big. But it seems they have way fewer animals in there this time. All the pet supplies are still organized very well and easy to find. The workers here are also friendly and the checkout line is fast.”

“The last two times we came here was for a dog grooming. They do a good job. The dog always looks well groomed after a visit. A full grooming takes around 4 hours. But you have to book a month in advance. They don't do drop ins and no same day. This makes it difficult at times when you are unable to know your schedule a month in advance.”

“I have been going here for the past year to get my dog washed and get his hair cut but it wasn't till this last cut that I was really SO happy with it. Kinga M. Was my dog's groomer and she took such great care of him.She was thorough in explaining the difference in just a nail trip and getting them buffed, and gave him the best haircut. Every time I look at him I think of how pleased I am with the way his haircut turned out. He's a poodle so he got a little puffball Mohawk on top of his head and he usually comes out with it looking kind of funny.. but this time it's really even and cute.Thanks Kinga!”
