“Nicole does a fantastic job of grooming. The service is prompt and affordable. I like the fact they don’t keep your dog kenneled there for several hours like most places.There was one problem. The gal who checked us in *shamed* me for trimming my dog’s neck, head, chin and face - myself. When I came back to get my dog she did it again, she said “we tried our best to blend in the short cut you gave her”. Nicole is the groomer and she did not seem concerned about it.So, to the owner of Waggers: your cashier needs to keep her abrasive comments to herself. I always trim my dogs’ faces myself, been doing it for years and years. I do it myself because I prefer to style their face, head and neck different than the way most groomers do. I am willing to give this place one more try. If your cashier shames me next time I come in, I will take my dog elsewhere. I will not tolerate rudeness.”

“This is my local store. Occasionally they're out of stock on things I purchase frequently. I turn to Amazon at those times. And always pay considerably less. The staff is friendly but not knowledgeable. The glowing aspect is the Happy Tails adoptions.”
“My fiancé and I mainly come here for the dog wash. You can purchase a dog wash package (5 for $60) that gets added to your account. The employees are super friendly here and are great about making sure the dog wash is clean and ready for each customer, which is highly appreciated. There's only two dog wash stations, but there's usually one available whenever we've stopped by. The space between each dog wash station is enough for each person to move around comfortably, but is a fairly enclosed space (that's blocked off by a baby gate), so just a heads up if you happen to have a reactive dog. With the dog wash, you get access to an apron, towels, choice of shampoo, a dog bath brush, and a force blow dryer for your use. There's a shelf you can utilize as well if you end up bringing your own supplies, which we typically do. Having gone to other dog washes, we've ultimately decided this is our favorite due to cleanliness. Highly recommend!”
“When we lived in East Sac, the Pet Dept. Store was our go-to place. Stopping in for a cat scratcher the other day made me realize it's worth the drive, no matter where in Sacramento one lives. They go the extra mile to make sure that you and your pets are taken care of.”

“I love this place because of the staff! I feel like it's one of the only pet stores where the employees are not only familiar with their products but also know a lot about animals, animal behavior, and can recommend solutions for different issues. Clearly they are all pet lovers and animal parents. I have learned how to avoid urinary blocks in cats, diet changes for kidney issues and how to prevent it in the future, info on track and neuter programs, help with choosing the most efficient kitty litter and graciously carrying heavy bags of it out to my car, as well as providing solutions for allergies and treats without glycerin, etc. They are full of compassion and good insight and always clue me in when there is a sale coming up on things they know I can use. ?”
“We're so pleased with the Vetco staff. Very knowledgeable and they were gentle with our puppy. He had no idea that he was getting vaccinated with microchip. He's not afraid of them. A plus is that their prices are much less than our regular veterinarian who charges almost double for the 5 in 1 vaccine then adds a vet tech fee which Vetco does not charge. We'll continue to bring our fur kids to Vetco for their available services.”
“In Land Park and looking for a pet supply store, we thought why not "Land Bark." My hubby and I were in the need of 2 things and staff member Angel was amazingly helpful! She showed us how to use the Spot Handi Drink Instant Dog Drinker we purchased, as well as their spout outside to fill it up! Definitely convenient for parks and road trips! She also recommended the company we love, Earth Rated for poop bags! We got the leak-proof Lavender-Scented, the bags are nice and long and they really block the odors! I would definitely recommend this small business that focuses on the wellbeing of your fur child! They have been in business now for 14 years. We'll be back to explore more!”

“Lewis is so happy to have his new piggy baby. He got one a few months ago, but then his sister demolished it. We tried to order another one a couple of times, but there were none in stock. This time it worked, and so he got a new one this week. And he is so happy!”
“The owner is so nice, and spoils my pup every time I go in with her! My pup loves the cookies, and cake from here! My girl is a senior pup with only 5 teeth left, and the cookies she makes are not super hard. I. Fact they are soft, and easy for my pup to enjoy! Highly recommend this place! Cute little shop with also lots of cute doggie boutique wear, if your pup is a fashionista.”

“Always an interesting store just to walk into. Lots of entertainment to be had. Birds, cats, dogs, hamsters, lizards, snakes, spiders, guinea pigs etc. Anything you need pet related. From treats to daily feed, toys to collars and harnesses and more. Lots to choose from. Customer help to be had when needed.”
“These guys know all the things about your geckos, beardies, and snake friends. And they'll sell you live crickets 10/$1 saving me from spending $7 on a pack of $50 at Petco that will die before my babies can eat them. They're very helpful and friendly. Toughest issue is they have limited hours, not open on Monday or Tuesday and then are open like 12-6 other days.”
“Lam did the most beautiful job grooming our Louie! We’ve been coming to Petsmart for grooming for a couple years and this was his BEST haircut ever. It was clear after speaking with Lam that she truly cares about her work and is very detail oriented. We are very grateful for you taking such great care of our Louie.?”
“I've been going to exotic aquarium for at least 25 years back when it was on florin road. The new location is insane so many tanks it kinda gives the same vibes that Capitol Aquarium used to. They literally have everything here aswell as a large reptile and dry good selection. Highly recommend stopping but if only just to window shop the fish and reptiles they have so much cool stuff here.”
