Practiced Aikido since 1997, Aikido has not yet ceased to amaze me on how it helps in both mind and body. It’s my preferred form of exercise and Martial arts It is to my great delight to see many kids and adults transform themselves with the Aikido Institute in a short time.

The Aikido Institute is a Bay Area center for the study of traditional Aikido as taught by Morihiro Saito Sensei (1928-2002). Originally in Oakland and now located in Emeryville, California, we are a non-profit member dojo of the Takemusu Aikido Association. Ranks are recognized by the Aikikai Foundation - Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. Visitors welcome!
