Arts Africains is a premier destination for a unique collection of African arts, serving Contra Costa County, Alameda County, and the surrounding areas since 2009. It is a trusted African arts store and beads shop with an extensive assemblage. This beautiful, colorful, and authentic store offers an incredible inventory of items for great prices. It is among the largest African retail stores in Northern California. The store specializes in a diverse range of products shipped directly from countries around the continent. This includes intricately designed African mud cloth fabric, exquisite African clothing, wax print fabric, dashikis, and African arts and paintings. It also offers a famous sought-after collection of shea butter in various fragrances, black soap, and coconut oil. The inventory features African giraffe wooden carvings, waistbeads, necklaces, earrings, bags, purses, drums, masks, scarfs, and many other vibrant artifacts. It is a pillar in the community and feels like home. Plan to visit the store's new gallery in the Powell Street Emeryville Plaza to experience Africa and discover the rich culture and heritage from different African tribes.

We are in the San Francisco Bay Area visiting from Singapore. We happened to find this rather beautiful store purely by chance. What a delight: Beautiful items, well displayed and a wonderful friendly and informative woman behind the counter. Items were very reasonably priced and the collection on display was remarkable
