From the moment I messaged Lang Antiques I was treated to excellent correspondence; they even put the ring I was interested in on hold while we discussed having it resized. “Yadav is our jeweler of choice and I'm so glad my husband decided to get my engagement ring and our wedding bands from them. It's a family owned business- every time we go in we are greeted with smiles and kindness. We haven't had any bad customer service experiences at Yadav. When we were initially shopping for rings, some of the other jewelers in the city were arrogant and unresponsive to our questions via email- so we took it as them not wanting our money. We've had appointments and have even walked in without appointments and Maytal, Edan, and Destiny have always been helpful, friendly, and accommodating. “Before working with ADA, I went into the process of buying an engagement ring worried about the uncertainties that can come with buying a diamond online. Would the stone be good quality? Would the setting? How would I know that the stone I chose wouldn't have imperfections not considered in the grading process? When doing research about the process on reddit, I came upon a post by one of the founders (?) listing some of the things Ada Diamonds considers during their quality control check of prospective diamonds and I decided to work with them. I worked remotely with Jessi R of their SF location and the process was an absolute joy. There was clarity and transparency at every step and I felt confident that I was getting an engagement ring that was everything my partner wanted. For the level of customization in the process, the timeline moved smoothly, and there were various checkpoints where you could see what the ring would look like. Although I don't anticipate needing it, the complimentary resizing assuaged the nervousness of buying online. I would and will recommend Ada Diamonds wholeheartedly to anyone looking to purchase a lab grown diamond engagement ring, friends and family included.”

“I love the Stone Room! It has a great selection of crystals and stones at very fair prices. They also have a fantastic assortment of gemstone beads. Tenzin is always delightful and knowledgeable to work with. I have picked up some great stones here, and I know they are sourced in the best way possible via Tashi's travels and direct relationships with suppliers in each country. Most crystal stores that buy from gem shows and have no idea where their products are coming from, so I feel far better about buying from The Stone Room.”

I found the perfect stone from Ofer but was struggling to find the perfect band that I wanted so Ofer customized a band to exactly what I wanted and my now wife absolutely loved it. “I needed my engagement ring resized and didn't know the first thing about it. I saw Anello Brothers' great reviews and stopped in this afternoon. Barry was so helpful and resized it in 15 minutes while I waited. It turned out perfectly and was very reasonable ($40). I would definitely recommend!”
“This is strictly a repair place, not a jewelry store, in a strip mall that features massage parlors. Don't be put off by the unprepossessing atmosphere. John is a master craftsman who knows his business. I had a saga with an antique garnet and diamond ring that had prongs sticking up. First I took it to Pavé which had repaired earrings for me for $35. As I noted in an earlier review, they would charge $675 to repair the prongs, and recommended removing the garnet for another $325. That was about the price of the ring when I bought it, so I decided against letting them repair it. I took it to Kim's Watches and Jewelry Repair, where I had had a bracelet untangled for only $8. Mr. Kim didn't replace the prongs, but he bended them, for $40. I thought the ring was fine but the prongs began sticking up again. Mr. Kim again worked on the ring, and charged me nothing. But I knew the problem wasn't solved. When I saw the positive reviews for Underhill Studio, I took the ring to John. He carefully examined the ring and showed me photographs. Virtually all the prongs needed replacement, but not the center garnet. It took two visits, but he replaced all of them for $185. The ring looks great and I think the problem is finally solved. If you want an upscale jewelry store, Pavé is fine. If you want an expert who charges a fair price, try Underhill.”

“First things first... Kelly is the best! My girlfriend and I started our engagement ring purchasing process by looking at other online websites for lab grown diamonds. We had a diamond picked out for her and all we needed was the ring size. We had previously bought a ring from Padis in Walnut Creek and called to get the ring size. Kelly told me the ring size and informed me that their prices were very competitive to other online jewelers. Upon looking at Padis' website, I found out that the ring and setting that I had customized was 40% cheaper than the other online jewelers.
