“I wanted to share the great experience we had with Austin at the Trek shop in Encinitas. He was incredibly professional and patient, helping us tune up my daughter’s old bike. Austin didn’t just fix the issue; he took the time to explain how we could maintain it at home, which was really helpful. The bike had been sitting in the garage, covered in spider webs and dust, but Austin went the extra mile by cleaning it up and making it shine like new. That attention to detail made a big difference.

Thanks to Austin’s excellent service and positive attitude, we ended up buying a brand new bike for my daughter, and she couldn’t be happier. There are plenty of shops that sell bikes, but it’s the service that truly sets one apart. Because of Austin, we’ll be coming back to Trek in Encinitas for all our future bike purchases. “I’ll never go anywhere else!

I moved down here two years ago and hadn’t found a bike shop. Asked a friend for a recommendation and he told me this was the place.

I went in there yesterday, nice gentlemen greets me and asks me what’s up. I tell him I haven’t had my bike touched in two years, don’t know much about bikes beyond barely knowing how to ride one, been riding a lot and am doing a triathlon in 2 weeks, just want a tune up. He puts it up and is taking a look while talking to me.

Ultimately he tells me “your bike is in great shape, I wouldn’t touch it. Buy some of this, after your race clean up the chain etc (walks me thru all the steps) but that’s all you need, you’re ready to crush.” I thanked him profusely, bought the spray cleaner and left.

When you tell someone you don’t know anything and are ready to pay him money and he tells you not to, you know you’re in great hands. Customer for life!”
