Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center is a clean, well-organized, and efficient location. The store offers a very helpful way of handling donations, with a convenient and easy drop-off process where staff are described as nice and helpful. While the store is noted to be on the small side, it is packed tight and offers a little bit of everything, including a large selection of books that is compared to a major bookstore. Shoppers can find a variety of items, from antiques and hidden gems to high-dollar ticket items with tags still on, including great active wear and furniture pieces. The selection is fairly curated. However, multiple reviews note that this location is significantly more expensive than other Goodwill stores, with marked up prices that are shocking for a thrift store. Some items, like a pair of jeans, are considered overpriced. Despite the higher prices on some things, other items are mind-boggling affordable, such as an end table for $12. The store also has limitations, as the donation center does not accept furniture. Customer service receives high praise, with staff described as welcoming and going above and beyond to help solve problems, contributing to a very positive shopping experience. The store's proximity and availability are appreciated. Overall, it presents a thrifting experience where you never know what you will get, ranging from expensive finds to great deals.
Very helpful and efficient way of handling donations. Thank you for helping me repurpose stuff we don't need any more.

The La Costa Ave drop-off is easy and the guys are always nice and helpful. Only bummer the last time I was there was - they said they don't take furniture. :(
