The quality is truly night and day compared to even the best rib eye from across the street from sprouts or Ralph’s. Even the fat around the steak is insanely delicious when grilled the right way. Most of the time it’s chewy. Every cut of meat I have had from here has been nothing but buttery. Also the Celt salt helps a lot. Do yourself a favor and get your meat from here. Grab some fresh veggies and your stomach will thank you later.”

“I stumbled across this place while I was in the area looking for something to eat, and what a lucky find. The facade is so unfussy and unassuming, but inside, the staff are quite exceptional. The cashier even checked with the kitchen about the spiciness of the sausage, just to make sure the person eating it would actually enjoy it. After I placed my order, the chef came out from the back to ask who the order was for and whether that person would prefer the Dijon mustard on the side instead. Those little details really stood out to me—it’s clear they genuinely care about the person they’re feeding. The food was delicious. The hot dogs were juicy and flavorful, the pretzel buns were soft and wonderfully chewy, and the sandwiches were just as satisfying. I left already thinking about what I want to try next. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be coming back to work my way through more of the menu.”

You can really see and taste the quality. They also have all the spices and masalas you need, which makes it very convenient. “Small market but they have a little bit of everything. A couple of friends who live nearby recommended it to me because they say they get great fresh plantains (plátanos) that taste amazing, sweet and are perfectly ripe, unlike what you find in most grocery stores. So I went specifically to get me some plátanos and OMG, I'm hooked. They were $2.29 per pound vs. $1-$1.29 per pound at the grocery store, more expensive, yes, but totally worth it. At least I'm paying for plátanos that I can actually eat and enjoy instead of getting some that will end up in the trash can. Will be back soon for more plátanos. The girl at the front is nice, and there's plenty of parking.”

“I had a great time shopping at El Camaguey. They have a lot of ingredients that are really hard to come by at other stores. I would not necessarily trust the produce. A lot was past its prime, and the coolers were visibly dirty and rusty. And if the front-facing produce is that way, what does that mean for the meat? You decide. But the shelf stable, packaged, and frozen foods- those were all a delight to browse. I was particularly delighted to find Gayraná Antarctica, which I've been wanting to try for years. It's great to have found a new store for a specific regional cuisine. I will definitely be back.”

I like that one can call in a special order and they will butcher and package specially for you.There are two 2 star reviews....not for the meat but for the cashier. They are from 2017 & 2019 and should be removed. They both mentioned the rude cashier. My experience is that the cashier is very sweet and very helpful!!Try this place if you haven't already.”
