“Walked in exactly at 3:33pm to get my new watch sized and I saw a very adorable stand that said Jesus loves you. I said hi to the gentleman and said asked to have him size my watch. While he worked on it, I picked up one of the mini bibles and read messages of love. Not only did I have a beautiful experience in a family ran business, but they also took good care of my watch and sized it accordingly. Price was also reasonable so I gladly tipped them. “Working with Tom Jackels and his son was one of the best business experiences I have had in Los Angeles. My first encounter was with his son who helped me get a very fast appraisal for a diamond engagement ring that was handed down to me from my Grandmother. I needed done in a timely fashion and they delivered. While I was there he so kindly explained everything to me that he was doing and walked me through the entire process. I knew nothing about the diamond except that it meant a lot to me. I left feeling like I knew more about my ring and its worth. The second experience was I came to Tom to get my ring re-set. I had a chip in one of the side baguettes and we decided it was time to re-set the ring and make it mine. Tom was so patient and helpful helping me to find a new setting. He got how much the ring meant to me. I know both he and his family typically deal with much more expensive pieces of jewelry but I felt like I was his most important client and was given the same care, creativity, and passion as he would give to his top client. I think he knew that this was probably the nicest thing I owned and treated it with the same respect I did. The re-set of the ring absolutely blew me away. It was better than I had imagined. They also stayed in communication with me during the whole process and Tom even sent me a picture to show me the final version before I came to pick it up. This is a talented, trustworthy, smart, caring family business. I will always go back to the Jackels Collection and would recommend to anyone!”

I did research on the company and then spoke with Irene. She provided me with education about the company and provided me with reassurance. “Not that this place (or the EXTREMELY honest, kind hearted, professional and knowledgeable husband & wife team who own and run it) need any MORE 5 out of 5 stars (or 10 out of 10☺️) but I had such great experiences there I figured I'd do my very first and only review EVER in my 56+ years alive. First, I am only visiting California and when I called to ask if they replaced watch batteries (and to see how much). When my reply was "Yes and 10 dollars" (*TEN!! DOLLARS!! WHAT!!??). Since all the previous places I called charged quite a bit more, I set a time to go there and have it done. While there I met Rod & Carely (etc.?) and as Rod replaced (my 'late'?) father's watch battery, we conversed about multiple topics (partially about coin collecting (which we both do) and that I also had/have with me my father's wedding band that I used to wear as a pinky ring but it was too tight and 2 of the larger diamonds fell out. Hopefully I've learned my lesson not to wear ANY jewelry while playing sports, working in the yard or doing ANYTHING that might damage or cause loss. I found one of the 2 diamond and had/have that also. Anyway after he looked at it and told me how much it all would cost me to make the ring larger, put the diamond I had back in the ring AND put ANOTHER (same high quality) diamond in there, I was EXTREMELY surprised at how very....VERY reasonable his quote was. I have included some pictures but they don't show that Rod takes SUCH **GREAT** pride in not only *TRULY* doing the 'right thing(s)' but going even MORE above and beyond what he agreed to. I am not suggesting that he will do the exact same 'thing(s)' for you if you go there but for me, instead of just 'stretching' the back/bottom of my ring, he actually ADDED MORE GOLD *AND* polished it (which he also did a FANTASTIC job doing that too) at NO extra cost to me.I don't know about 'you' but to 'me' when someone.... when ANYONE not only does GREAT work (whatever that might be) and you SEE that person GENUINELY takes pride in whatever work they do but ALSO takes that EXTRA step, that....THAT place is worth mentioning so others (like yourselves) can know about it......and apparently by all the MANY others who gave 5 stars and PERFECT reviews, I am not the only person who thinks & feels that way☺️.”

I highly recommend this place the price for service is unbelievably inexpensive. This is a very modest shop you are not going to be ripped off like some of the jewelry stores in the malls. They do excellent work and prices are very, very reasonable. I highly recommend that when you need jewelry or watch repair that you go here and support these people they really do excellent work. “My friends and I were on vacation in Beverly Hills for a few days and decided to stop by the Grand Seiko Boutique since I was a huge fan of the brand. Kimberly, the associate there was super friendly and informed us about all of the features of the watches. It was a huge contrast to all the other luxury watch stores that we stopped by since they basically ignored us or gave us really bad vibes. But at Grand Seiko, Kimberly was very welcoming and didn't mind taking the watches out of the display cases to show us. I really appreciated how she didn't seem to push hard for a sale or pressure us into buying anything. Overall the experience here was great and the customer service was top notch.”

“Having never been engaged, nor in need a jeweler before, Excalibur came highly recommended by Eileen at Pepi's via a close friend. I just needed my ring resized and when I say they went above and beyond, I'm not giving them enough credit. I called on Friday and, while they don't take appointments on Saturday, they suggested we just pop in. We went when they opened and were helped by Max right away. They even said it would be ready by end of day! So we walked down the street to eat when I received a call from Kurt, the owner: there was a major problem with my ring. We walked back to the store and not only did Kurt explain what happened and our options, but he took the time from whatever he was clearly working on to sit down with us, provide some excellent education and help us make a decision. By 5pm, we were headed back to Excalibur to pick up my ring, which is now more beautiful than I thought possible. I have been staring at the sparkles ever since and my face hurts from smiling.
