About Avis Car Rental
Avis Car Rental Escondido operates one of the world's best-known car rental brands and is recognized for customer loyalty. The staff, including Michael and Jack, are often described as super flexible, friendly, and cool, providing smooth, efficient, and courteous service even when busy. Many customers report a great, hassle-free experience, with the team quickly getting them a vehicle and on the road. The location is appreciated for being open on weekends. However, some experiences are mixed. One customer found a staff member dismissive when reporting a noisy rattle and loose carpeting in a vehicle, with no alternative offered except a more expensive upgrade. The rental center itself is noted as very, very small, with procedures like dropping keys in a door slot. Concerns about post-return charges are mentioned, leading customers to take detailed pictures of the car. Additionally, there are reports that the phone number is difficult to use, not connecting to a voicemail and hanging up, making it hard to get ahold of anybody.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this location earned one. Everyone was professional, the vehicle was in excellent condition, and the whole experience was straightforward. No unnecessary hassle, just good service.
