Big Lots in Escondido offers a good selection of stuff like furniture, food, and decor at a low price, with sales and clearance items to save money. The store on East Valley Parkway is very nice and put together for the eyes, with clean aisles and bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Some items can be over priced, but the clearance is truly a clearance. A downside is that they don’t offer a lay away plan for large box items. Customers have been going for years and hope it stays in business.
Not busy at all so in and out was very fast, Clean and everything was easy to find and very helpful staff.

Friendly, helpful staff. I really like that they don’t act like they can’t be bothered. That is 2 stars right there. Bathrooms always clean and aisles too. If there is a downside remark, it would be that they don’t offer a lay away plan for large box items.
