My friend lost her iPhone. We ended up walking all up and down the mall to look for it. She was extremely distraught.
We ended up back at Macy's. Somebody had found it and they were keeping it for us.

“Walmart can truly feel like a pit of despair sometimes. There is a very specific kind of hopelessness that comes from pressing the assistance button, hearing it announce that someone has been notified, and then standing there slowly realizing that nobody is coming. You begin to wonder how long you've been there. You start questioning whether help was ever real.
That was exactly what was happening when I needed a pair of shoes that were locked in the display... shoes I needed for my job. I pressed the button. Nobody came. I waited. Still nobody came.
Gregorio was busy doing something completely unrelated, saw me standing there waiting for someone whose job it actually was to help me, and eventually said, “I’ll go ahead and get the key for you.”
THAT is why I want to specifically recognize Gregorio.
He didn't have to stop what he was doing. He wasn't the person who was supposed to respond to the button. He could have left me to slowly become one with the shoe department, another lost soul swallowed by the fluorescent-lit despair of Walmart. Instead, he noticed that nobody was coming and went out of his way to help me get something I genuinely needed for work.
Gregorio was kind, attentive, and proactive when he had absolutely no obligation to pick up somebody else's slack.
Please recognize this man. Gregorio saw me abandoned in the Walmart abyss and chose to intervene.

“This Target store seems smaller than most I've been to. It's beautiful on the outside though and it's connected to the Mershops North County Mall. I came in to get some office supplies including post-its and copy paper. The selection is pretty limited but I did get a pack of white paper (750 sheets) for just $8.29 which I think is a pretty good deal. The post-its were $12.99 for a 12 pack. I wish they had a bigger selection.”
“I think this is place is fairly new in the mall, but I love it! All of the cutesy little kawaii and anime-esque goodies for the house. Fairly reasonable prices too, probably less than you would spend on the stuff on amazon. Nice atmosphere to browse in.”
“I just picked up an order from Walmart on the Fourth of July. The woman who helped me is so far beyond excellent; I cannot give a good enough review. God bless her. She appeared to be Caucasian with blonde hair in a bun, and she was wearing glasses. I hope that helps, and I hope she gets a recognition she deserves.”
“The JCPenney hair salon has an amazing efficient manager who has brought the salon a variety of amazing and gifted stylists with an abundance of talent for all different styles and wants for hair needs very affordable friendly great hours of availability never had a bad experience such a great staff”

“The store is ok. Pretty run down but the employeesare nice and helpful. They have a well stocked Alfred Dunner department for those who like his style. Their dress department was stocked with the most hideous dresses we have ever seen. It was so fun imagining a buyer choosing them for the store. We tried staging a competition for worst dress but it was impossible to choose. If you need some comic relief head on in! Then go to the food court in the mall and have some great green curry and drunken noodles!”
“Per my Google maps history I have visited over 5,000 visits to San Diego Targets over the past 4 years. And I can honestly say that the target Auto Parkway location is by far the best. The store is always clean and organized. Products are where they say they should be and the staff there rocks. From Managers Juan, Justin, Phoenix and pretty much every team member that works there - this is truly an amazing Target and I highly recommend it.”
