“The ambiance is great, so glad to see a happening place open in East Escondido. Big screen TVs and big tables are great for families. Beer from the tap - awesome. Seems to be run by a family also, very friendly. The food... meh. Not a big fan of beef mixed with pork... but the main thing that got me was when I found out that the vinegar and oil dressing is not made with olive oil but instead is canola oil. Its so easy for restaurants to fall into the food epidemic we see in America, where seed oils are used because they're cheaper and most people don't notice the difference. European food is known for being much heathier and they use olive oil. An authentic restaurant should consider using authentic healthy ingredients... and then advertise it so people know. I think alot of people care about their health”

“Great food for last minute catering! I procrastinated on ordering food for my wife's birthday party. I found this butcher shop and small market from the Google Reviews. Both the food and service were awesome! We ordered carne and pollo asada, carnitas, beans and rice. Great food and unbeatable prices! I had them cook the food and I picked it up at dinner time. Everything was delicious and everyone took home leftovers. I highly recommend!”

“Came in after seeing the Taco Tuesday billboard advertising $1.99 tacos nearly impossible to beat that price. After trying them, I was honestly impressed. The tacos were delicious, the tortillas were immaculate, and the whole place exceeded my expectations for a taco shop tucked inside a Latino market. If you’re in Escondido, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. Solid 10/10.”
