“Wasn't planning on coming here originally but found this place on Google maps. Immediately walking inside I noticed the cleanliness and the simple layout of the Market. The cashier was very nice along with the crew in the kitchen. I ordered a asada burrito with 3 birria tacos. Waiting for the food, I appreciated the organized placement of goods for sale and the location of the kitchen and seating area. The food was great and the service was professional. Will be back. 5 out of 5.Parking: There are a few spots up front but if they are all taken you can park a little further out by the oil change building.”

“My Favorite Starbucks is in this Vons! They have the best baristas, make great drinks and super friendly! As for the rest of the store, I like the organic lamb they carry here. They also have really great sales on meat, you should definitely utilize the Vons App and save the coupons on there because it saves you tons more than just the sale prices. One thing about the store is the checkout lines are long and slow, so I always do self check. My biggest complaint about the store is that it's always FRIGIDLY cold in the store! If management reads these, turn down thar air!!”

“Just arrived in Escondido, needed a place for lunch. This is a restaurant located within a Carniceria. Not fancy, not a place for fine dining. Fortunately, we did not need fancy, all we needed was good hot food. The Wednesday soup special was Caldo de Res. I love Caldo de Res. Have not had any for several months as I needed a place that understands Mexican home cooking. Caldo de Res Huge steaming hot bowl of tender cooked beef with corn, carrots and cabbage. Served with cilantro, chopped onion and lime on the side. Precisely what I was in the mood for. The beef was tender and flavorful. I did have to remove a fair amount of fat. The corn, carrots and cabbage flawless. The broth could have used a tad more flavor, depth. It was delicious and I finished it all. It was a 4-star bowl of Caldo de Res. I will definitely be ordering this dish again. Service was exceptional. Staff here all 5-star. Everyone was beyond accommodating. I will definitely be back.”
