Carter House Inns & Restaurant 301 is the sweetest spot in Eureka. This lovely restaurant is small with lots of windows. The food is excellent, outstanding, and well prepared, with beautiful presentation. Dishes are described as spectacular, unique, creative, and delicious, from the outstanding French onion soup and pumpkin risotto to the wonderful breakfast. The service is top notch, with some of the best trained, most accommodating, kind, helpful, and efficient staff. The wine selection features the best local California and Oregon varietals. It is a special place for a get together, an absolutely lovely brunch, or an experience that should not be missed.
This is a lovely place with a great restaurant. One and only complaint was a bit of noise from some spirited locals across the street. Excellent customer service.

We stumbled across this place on our way through Eureka. Victorian architecture and near the marina. Comfortable rooms, great complementary breakfast, friendly people! Great bar too.

This place is amazing, I've gone to two events they held. I'm hoping they do more because I'm going to go to each one. The food is incredible, the services incredible the manager is amazing. Everything about this place is amazing and perfect.
