Carter House Inns & Restaurant 301 is the sweetest spot in Eureka. This lovely restaurant is small with lots of windows. The food is excellent, outstanding, and well prepared, with beautiful presentation. Dishes are described as spectacular, unique, creative, and delicious, from the outstanding French onion soup and pumpkin risotto to the wonderful breakfast. The service is top notch, with some of the best trained, most accommodating, kind, helpful, and efficient staff. The wine selection features the best local California and Oregon varietals. It is a special place for a get together, an absolutely lovely brunch, or an experience that should not be missed.

Excellent small restaurant. The menu is straight forward and relatively simple. The food was very well done and delicious. It is a small restaurant in the first floor of the Carter House Inn. A small hotel with a surprisingly lively bar scene. I recommend it if you are in the area.

Breakfast was great, especially with the additional table of fresh pastries. Dinner was good, but would expect a slightly higher quality for this price point.
