Highly disappointed in the lack of compassion and “customer service” by Monica Nunez. She was rude and extremely condescending. And if she is any representation of how this company is ran I lucked out by not being able to make it to pick up my car on time. Don’t rent from here. Far too many car rentals close by that are probably willing to treat people with the common decency we all deserve.

Please make sure you check Budgets policy for renting a car apparently it's changed six people in front of us were denied a rental. From what I understand the credit card hold is double your rental cost to start with the first thing they do is a credit check. They do not take debit it has to be a real credit card It's super sucked to see so many people screwed because they had no car and the clerk had her hands tied but was not at all helpful I guess there's nothing she could have done. There were a total of eight people in front of me I was there two hours and started thinking I was going to be screwed also so please just due diligence before you plan a trip and end up with no vehicle

This place charged me $375 for 1 extra day due to their website giving me the wrong closing time of the return store. I rented from the San Diego airport for a one way rental through Costco Travel. Just a warning that an employee told me, they give you their worst cars on one way rentals, so get the insurance on the car. The car they gave me was dirty, had a chip in the front windshield that was hard to see. One tire had a leak and I had to keep stopping to fill the tire and shortly after I left the airport, the oil change light came on. I am sure they would have tried to charge me for that too. I had the insurance so they couldn't. I called their customer service and it was a joke, no supervisor on duty that could talk to me and the original service rep barely spoke English. I repeatedly called any customer service number I could find and finally I found a young lady that reimbursed me to just a normal 1 day rental charge instead of the Ferrari price they charged me for a Ford box... NEVER AGAIN

This place was clean, fast, and accommodating. Desk was extremely helpful and happy to be there. And this location had a larger selection than Enterprise and Hertz for cheaper and also one way options. My wife and I were extremely pleased with this location.

The First best thing about Budget Car Rental is the extremely friendly and professional people who work there. That is the only place I am going to rent from, here forward. The Second best thing was the wonderful 4WD Buick Enclave we rented to drive down South. That vehicle gets 5 stars in every way a vehicle should. A great experience all around. Takes too long to drop a car back off along with the customer service being laughable at best. I know the county I’m speaking on isn’t the most funded, but doesn’t mean you can’t find qualified workers that know what they’re doing instead of unnecessarily prolonging basic processes because of the unqualified staff.

Searched around for great deals, and lowest cost, this was the best choice! Got the car I needed. I loved the Ford CRV I drove. Had a problem finding how to turn on the headlights. Please take an extra minute to explain the function of normal usage of lights, and wipers. Not every car operates the same. The lights were on the dashboard, not the blinker like my own car. The wipers worked the opposite direction from my Honda CRV, as I brought rain from Washington. So please remember, not everyone has every tools knowledge in their tool belt. And I love to drive, so help everyone get to their destinations safely. PCM

It's a NO for me. Since it would be my first time renting from them I called to make sure I was aware of any deposits/fees that could be charged in person. The girl that answered the phone (Angela) was very rude when answering the phone then I wasn't even done explaining myself and she cut me off saying "so what is your question" in a very irritated/angry tone of voice. I told her she seemed very rude and she hung up. Potential customer lost, it sucks how these employees ruin it for the companies....maybe management needs to do better when hiring people. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

Wow!! I have never had such a fast checkout. Alfred seems to be mistaken by others as grumpy...but maybe I think he is just no nonsense. I couldn't believe it. I did make a reservation ahead of time through Costco Travel. It kinda felt like I walked in, handed him my ID and credit card, and he tossed me some keys and said, "Its the red one over there," as he pointed outside to the left. So crazy!!!! I love the Bay Area! This would have never happened in So-cal. The cars were a little dirty but I think its because of how windy it is right by Travis AFB. I got a BRAND new Hyundai Elantra....sweet!
