Came in on 03/07/25 to make 3 bears with my brothers voice that passed away. Lihn instantly greeted me with a smile, asked if I needed help, helped me but also went above and beyond her job to assure me things will be okay. She truly made my night better and I am so glad I took the 2hr drive to this location. Lihn, thank you so much for having a heart of Gold and listening to me as we built the bears. You’re truly amazing and I hope your journey on life continues to get better! ❤️🩹

I understand that it is a store for children, but when I entered I left some bags at the entrance so as not to go in with them and thus not cause problems. After a minute they told me that I couldn't have them there and that I should put them where they wouldn't get in the way outside, but if there were any children lying on the floor they wouldn't let me in. Ah, but the bags that weren't getting in the way I had to take out, risking that someone could take them. It was a bad experience, really, for the first time.

Bought a bear online to be stuffed in my local store at Solano Mall, Fairfield, CA. In stuffing, the bear had an unrepairable hole. The staff, Hannah and Linh, started looking for a replacement, but none online or in other close by stores. Hannah was a blessing by calling so many numbers, but corporate was already closed for the weekend. I was disappointed, yet happy a child did not have this experience. Suddenly, Hannah left the desk, without explanation. She came back with a demo bear!!! I was so happy! Linh stopped the refund. My already tough day was saved!! BaB staff at this store is the BOMB!!

Today I took my 2 year old daughter to get a build a bear to say good bye to her pacifier. I don’t know her name but the amazing woman that helped us was so amazing with my daughter and was great at interacting with her- she even took the time to place the pacifier in the dog somewhere my daughter could feel it when she hugs the dog. It’s a big milestone for her to say goodbye to that pacifier and she was so excited and had a ton of fun. She doesn’t show a lot of emotion in the moment but after she told me how much she liked making her dog. Thanks to the amazing workers at Build a Bear for helping my daughter with such a big thing

My favorite build a bear location. After my childhood one shut down in Sacramento, I was looking for a Build a Bear that still had the original vintage store design, unlike the sterile corporate new ones. The staff here every single time I’ve come have been nothing short of wonderful. They’re kind, patient, friendly, and welcoming, each time, to every person who walks in. I even forgot my card one visit—I know, I’m an idiot!—and the wonderful staff member who helped me RAN OUT to me and flagged me down to give it back. I genuinely hope everyone here is paid well, they definitely deserve it. Thank you for the memories made here.

Cute shop, friendly employees. There's not much more I can say. The shop is always immaculate, and the selection of both dolls and accessories is quite expansive.

Came in on 10/20 and there were hardly any halloween outfits for some reason. I asked one employee if there were more of the skeleton suits, referring to the ones on the two bears on display. She then says there are none for sale and thats that pretty much. I was disappointed but I was gonna head out without asking if I could purchase one of the ones on display. Another very nice employee overheard this interaction and said it would be fine that I buy it. As I was walking away, still close to the register, I hear her loudly tell her coworker that shes “too nice.” Very strange experience especially because they have always been great each time. I really appreciated the sweet employee, as she’s a great example of wonderful customer service.

I miss the original layout of a Build-a-Bear establishment. The family for the last 25 years have over 700 bears. We stop going about 7 years ago plus when the Sacramento one closed down. But with this one still open we will return to our hobby of building the bearsm

I love this store sooo much! Their staff are always so helpful and friendly. They also have great selection of Plushies, clothes and accessories!
