I wish I could give 5 stars to the people, and negative stars to the corporation. CARMAX is the WORST. After waiting 11 days for Carmax to fix the mirror they broke on the car I had shipped to my closest store, the in store experience was even worse... a managed waiting time and are on a used car lot with <5 customers and tons of staff who otherwise could help, but are tied into a structure designed to move hundreds of people in an faceless manner. After waiting for nearly an hour, I was directed to re-furnish all the items previously furnished online, because efficiency? Coming from nearly 100 miles away to my nearest branch for the test drive, I was told I needed to buy the car that day, or it would be released for others to buy, AND that if I bought it Carmax WOULD NOT HOLD IT for a day or two (AFDTER WASTING 11 DAYS) and that I would need to park it out on the street until I could secure a ride to pick the car up. They really are HORRIBLE. The entire corporate end of the process is awful, and if Carmax did not have the specific vehicle I had spent months looking for, I would never have dealt with their kid. Their corporate direction is on track to make DMV service look good.

Everyone and all the info provided was very helpful forall that help I needed to purchase my vehicle. Unfortuntley after all was done I had to ask for a copy of the signed contract via text from Jermery and was told to contact the carmax I purchased it from. after speaking to the finance dept. I got the signed contract and account number to pay off the car. This all needed to be provided, once I accept the new vehicle.

Ocverall, I liked my experience with Car Max. I loved the way you could order a car online and they would have it delivered to the nearest CarMax and reserve it for you until your test drive. I think they do a pretty good job of testing their used cars. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I did not get a spare key and have to pay quite a bit at a dealership to get one.

Second time selling my vehicle to CarMax. Great offers, efficient service, quick in and out. I will say double check their spelling as my name and address were off on different documents (one being my equity check).

HUGE shout out and the BIGGEST thanks to sales rep Chris Turner! I was not wanting to be at the dealership at all. Buying a new car was not something I was ready for due to personal reasons, and I was extremely anxious going in not knowing what to expect. Chris was amazing! He was very patient, and not pushy at all! He was exactly the type of person that I needed to work with, and with his help I did find something that I was able to drive away happy with.
