I'm not trying to rate this business because they were closed when I got there. The 1 star has nothing to do with my experience, I just had to give a star rating. The purpose of this review is to let people know they are not open on the weekends as shown on Google.
I looked up gold and silver shops near me and this business appeared, the website says deal in everything gold and silver. I thought "great! I finally found a place to buy gold and silver that's open on the weekends." I'm not trying to shame this place at all, I'm sure this is a great business but the hours unfortunately don't fit my schedule ☹️

Going here to sell jewelry was an absolute pleasure. Jim provides an intimate environment that makes you feel at ease. He explains everything in detail about the price of gold and how he comes up with the price he offers to pay for the item/s. I highly recommend JLS LLC for your jewelry liquidation. Thank you Jim! I originally just wanted to sell a diamond ring. Jim went above and beyond by educating me about every step of the process. He also included information about the value of gold in this current market. A couple of transactions later and I left JLS with much more money than I ever expected. I want to thank Jim for his professionalism and honesty.

I had an excellent experience with JLS at what was a difficult time in my life. My father passed away leaving me, my sister and my daughter a significant estate which included more than $150k of investment grade and collector coins. I hauled the collection into Jim's office in coolers, crates and boxes and he took almost four hours going over it with me, separating the wheat from the chaff, itemizing and pricing the valuable items and providing what amounted to a coin collecting tutorial with his running commentary.
Based on Jim's evaluation, my family and I had a very easy time dividing the collection according to my parents' wishes and our individual interests in certain pieces. The kicker though, was that Jim refused payment for his consultation (four hours of his time), asking only that we send him our business should we decide to liquidate (which he will most certainly get).

Jim was incredibly nice, taking time out of the end of his day to make a last minute appointment for my mom and I. I wanted to get some jewelry my mom bought on The Jewelry Channel appraised and Jim very kindly let us know how much we were overcharged, and for free to boot.

I had a great experience working with Jim. He taught me a lot about today’s jewelry market. I initially went to Jim for consult on some diamonds I was considering to sell, but after our meeting I kept my stones and Jim made me a pair of beautiful diamond earrings, he replaced a missing diamond from a ring and he is currently looking for another piece for me. I am now a client and I can’t tell you how relieved I was to find a Jewler who is not only knowledgeable, but also trustworthy, honest, and kind. Thank you Jim for your exceptional service!!!

Amazing customer service and spot pricing from JLS. Came in to sell to Jim and he broke down how he came to the price in a quick and concise manner and we made a transaction happen in less than an hour. I would highly recommend any metal inquiries towards JLS to friends moving forward and they will continue to have my business in the future as well.

I needed to get some idea of what my jewelry was worth. Jim was very knowledgeable. He didn't even mind that I had about 8 items. I tried to give him money for his time but he wouldn't take it. He said verbal appraisals are free. Would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Jim.

Great place ! Wonderful vibe with interesting stuff wonderfully displayed but not like a pawn shop if that's what you searched for. Specialty items. I'd say call first for sure if you're just shopping but very accommodating if the place is empty and you're selling .. I'll sell (and potentially buy) my coins here from now on. Got lowballed at almost every other place in the area before coming here. Almost drove away cause the sign says "financial advisors," but you're in the right spot! Can't wait to go back!

This place was okay. The owner was kind and easy to work with however I can't shake the feeling I was ripped off. I sold an engagement ring and a necklace here. The total I got for everything was $80. When I find a photo of the necklace I'll update this review. I was given $25 for the ring and $55 for the necklace.
