“On this visit I was most interested in the $5 Friday specials. I like to research which items I will purchase prior to visiting. The deli was busy. The chicken is always a hit so there's usually a wait. I was surprised my roasted chicken selection was available. They also had the coleslaw. There were no potatoes which I understood however, it they were in the processing of replenishing, it would have been nice if the counter person mentioned it. Next I visited the bakery for the advertised cake. There was only two left so not too much of a selection but I picked one as I really wanted this cake. I went to check out and the chicken and coleslaw calculated correctly however the cake did not. I involved the teller since I was at the self check out and she came over to assist but wasn't sure about the price either. She went to check the bakery and came back and said the cake was in the wrong location but would still offer the sale price. I mentioned the advertisement for $5 Friday at which time she went to customer service to check the paper. I helped her to locate the ad and she fair about it. Due to the length of time waiting, she offered me the cake due to the lengthy checkout process. In my eyes, this was a great example of customer service. I certainly appreciated it and it made me feel that customer service does still exist.”

“I love this place & my family has been coming here for years. Usually we get our pan dulce here & carnitas as well. Lately I've been ordering their tacos de cabeza & OMG, these are seriously the BEST tacos in the area. They also have a good selection of groceries & latine ingredients. Staff is friendly & the kitchen is pretty quick in the back. The prices in the grocery are a little higher but that's kinda expected for a mom & pop type shop. I rather support a small local business in that way anyway. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.”

“This is a Safeway, not a Wholefoods, so reviews should look at it from that perspective. That being said, as a grocery store, it is convenient, has what you need, at good prices, and is rarely crowded. What I really want to praise is the pharmacy and the pharmacy supervisor. While I have had my friction at any pharmacy, even this one...due to our bureaucratic health system usually... the pharmacy supervisor, a younger Asian woman, went far above and beyond to help my family out with a difficult prescription.”

“I am giving this store 4 stars because it has the best produce department in Fairfield, hands down, in terms of selection, price and display. Whoever is managing the produce here takes enormous pride in what they do. I am a chef and this is where I go when I don't want to run around from store to store. The rest of the store has room for improvement.”

“I like this Walgreens. Located right next to Travis Credit Union and Fairfield High School. The parking lot is obviously shared with the bank. The bank customers will use Walgreen parking ugh...sometimes. Yes, it is a very clean store and feels spacious within. I create a lot of photo projects with them and I am super pleased with the products. My favorite employee is John. Staff is usually friendly here.”
