About Public Safety Academy
Public Safety Academy is a 5-12 grade school within the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District, focused on preparing students for careers in law enforcement, firefighting, emergency response, and other public safety fields. The academy offers a rigorous academic program that meets all State standards through a common core curriculum. Education is delivered in an experiential, hands-on, project-based way, helping students gain practical skills. Strong partnerships with police, fire professionals, community college staff, and the community ensure students are well prepared for today’s public safety careers. Students and parents appreciate the school’s good teachers, engaging activities, and a clean, comfortable environment. The school also provides sports facilities, such as a gym where students enjoy basketball games and other activities. While the school is highly regarded, some concerns include narrow parking spaces at the front of the school, which could be wider for safety. Overall, Public Safety Academy is seen as a great school that students love.

Watched a good basketball game in the gym there today, where eighth and ninth graders battled it out. Good coaching and funny refs. The facilities were clean and not too cold or warm. The floor was a little slick, according to the players. But generally a nice basketball venue.
