I stopped by to see if I could trade my current vehicle in for something newer, my lease is ending soon. Knowing my credit was not great, I asked to not be submitted to any banks because I was not ready to buy at what the APR would be. The salesman agreed to not send me over to any banks. The finance department proceeded to send my application to THREE BANKS, TWO DAYS IN A ROW. This was after I said I was not planning to buy yet. Do not trust them with your personal information. They will sabotage your credit so you are unable to buy elsewhere. BEWARE!

Stopped by Steve Hopkins Honda to see if they could do some emergency under car body work as we hit a rock while coming to Fairfield from out of town. Our service advisor, Leon Cobbs, had the car put up on the rack, diagnosed the problem and got it repaired right then and there - only took about 5 minutes. Didn't even charge us! Rarely get customer service like this anywhere, much less at a car dealership. Thanks Steve Hopkins Honda, and specifically Leon Cobbs!

From the minute, I pulled up here I was happy. They treated me with respect. They listened to my problems and concerns about the car. They called me with a solution within a few hours. They had me come back the next day after they got the part. Did the work in a timely manner. And came at $75 less than what I was quoted. martine was wonderful from beginning to end. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Kudos to Fairfield Honda! I left Napa Honda to do my dissatisfaction with their service department. Upon arriving in the Fairfield service department I was greeted with smiles, appreciation and great service. I was ordered a Lyft to and from work while they worked on my car and everything went seamless and they made it exceedingly simple. Thank you so much I will be back.

My car was having issues starting i took it to Honda dj Leon immediately greeted me and was able to help me out. His customer service is AMAZING. I've been here before and the service has always been great but today was TOP TIER. no greater feeling then getting great service when you're frustrated. Also big thanks to Matthew as he worked very quickly to assist with the service repairs. Great team work today!!!

A few weeks ago in Good Faith I took my SUV for its maintenance at Steve Hopkins Honda in Fairfield Ca, I was assisted by Mr. Leon . He did paper works and was told to wait at the reception area and will be called once my SUV is done . After 4.5 hrs I was called and was told that they've completed express service multi point inspection , Changed oil , tire rotation etc. , but they've found issues with my SUV that has only 72k mileage on it . The Front Rotor resurface is needed, there was also something Rubbing on Serpentine belt that needs further diagnosis , it has a Scratch in the middle belt very precise and noticeable markings , you can see photo below , and also that engine oil filter needs replacement . Mr Leon told me I have to wait again and that there's 7 cars ahead of me , it was around past 2 pm and I was already hungry I was there since 9:30 AM, told him I can't wait anymore to have further diagnostic , I have to come back and make appointment for another day . After few days , I came back for diagnostic ( this is $205 just to diagnose) with the Mysterious Scratch in the belt , and again was seen by Mr. Leon ( he was nowhere to be found and made me wait for 15 mins outside even thou I made an appointment , he finally arrived and nonchalantly he said a costumer was talking non-stop at the parking lot and it's UnEthical to just leave him or her , but it's okay for him to have someone waiting for 15 mins of her appointment even if he was being page and was told a costumer was waiting several times ! ) . He did paperwork and again asked to wait at the reception area , this was almost 11am . Around 1:30 pm received text from Mr . Leon to go to his office , I was glad he was there and never made me wait , he said they've found out what was Rubbing on the belt , it was a PEBBLE or a TINY STONE ( those are the words he used in his explanation ) that got STUCK somewhere in the Serpentine belt and Tensioner Q and drive belt area that was causing it !! I was shocked and couldn't believe what Ive heard , even a 5th grader will never believe what he said !! Mr Leon said I need to have the belts replaced , they don't have the parts at the moment but he already ordered it and will be arriving tomorrow , total was $1,200 . I can leave my car tonight or bring it the next day , Hopkins Honda don't have the parts otherwise I could have opted for them to begin to work on the breaks immediately ( I got worried and concern , you will tellme breaks needs to be taken Cared off!! ) , But I did not thank goodness , I want them done at the same time to save time , so i need to set it up for another time and will call them once I have settled my schedule ! The next day never wasted time determined to get a second opinion from a good hearted , honest people , and went to an independent auto mechanic that my brother in law was referring to go to for the longest time ! I never listen to him simply because I only want Honda parts and Honda experts to touch my CRV , until this incident with Hopkins Honda Service Dept . This time Intentions , Integrity , and honesty are way more important for me than parts and brands ! My Brother in-law's mechanic told me the belts are still in great condition , No need to have the front and the rear resurface it was still SMOOTH he even made me feel And touch rotor disc that needs to resurface as if I am touching a silver so smooth like a silk , the rubber pads still good ! Next the the Serpentine belts , he showed me how you can tell if tensions are tight and in place, he put his index finger in the belt pressing it and putting a bit pressure to see if the belt is firm , tight and in good position. He was even pointing a wheel small one that has like a teeth to it and he can't see anything wrong in it as well , there was no wear or tear inside the belt except for that weird white scratch ! Ugh. I loved and would only buy Honda's but my last experience made me never want to return. My 2018 Honda Odyssey decided to randomly go into limp mode and the dashboard set off a firework display of lights. I had all my children and husband in the car and couldn't go faster than 20 miles per hour on highway 12. I called and spoke to Martin. He said that he would have his guys check out the vehicle and diagnose the issue. I was leaving for a road trip the next day and anxiously waited for an answer. I was called about an hour later and informed that there was a switch stuck in the wrong position and it would be an easy fix. I was excited that things would be fixed and continued packing. The next day I got a call that the necessary part came in defective from the manufacturer and it would take until Tuesday to get the part. Without the part, I couldn't drive! I had to go to Sacramento airport to get a rental vehicle that would fit my family and I was livid. We asked them to contact my mom to pick up the vehicle since we would be out of town for a week. By Tuesday, I didn't hear anything, so I called 2 times to see what was happening. Martin was off, so I spoke to Josh. He immediately apologized and informed me that while the repairs were being done, my vehicle was dropped off the lift and damaged!! It would take another 3 days to get the vehicle not only repaired, but sent to a body shop. I couldn't believe it. He sent me photos of the damage and I asked that they cover the cost of my rental and gas since I was inconvenienced due to their error. They agreed and this is why they get one star. When the car was sent to the repair shop (Alioto's), they removed the wrong side of the vehicle because of some other damage (it didn't come in damaged!!!!). This meant another 3 days of work. My car has now been out of my possession for 12 days.Alioto's offered to bring the car to me, but mentioned that a part was still missing. When I came to the dealership, it was a huge piece missing and I refused to accept the vehicle. They had also promised that the car would be detailed, but it was messier than ever and looked ransacked. I just wanted to be rid of the vehicle at this point. When I did pick up the car, the lights all started flashing again. I was done and sold the vehicle to CarMax on the spot. Martin and Sheila get the other star because of their professionalism and diligence. But I would never do business here again. Stay far away.

I made an online service appointment and was trying to get any recalls done. The computer said no recalls needed when I made the online service appointment. But when Leon Cobb manually checked there were 2 recalls. Me needing my car I only had the time to leave the car long enough for an oil change. Leon is a wealth of knowledge. He told us things about our certified pre owned Honda that the dealership we purchased from did not explain. So I wanted to make sure Leon's direct supervisor knew what an asset Leon is. I got to speak with a wonderful human being who is proudly a Honda employee and Leon's supervisor. Sheila is a great example of a boss a team leader and an extension of Honda. I then was introduced to Mike the manager through Sheila. What a family organization feeling I got from this low stress/ no stress work environment. Thanks to everyone else who helped with getting our oil changed. God Bless and please be kind to others as people are battling things you have KNOW idea about. Thanks for listening.

I must say that my experience today is worth writing about.Early this morning I dropped a car off for a safety recall appointment. On top of doing the recall they also changed the oil and serviced the rear brakes. Leon (service writer) and I have been working on a plan of attack for about two weeks. He was really professional and highly knowledgeable. I really appreciate that. Honesty goes a long way with me, and I found that here. Although this dealership is a distance from my house it was well worth it. I want to thank Leon and their mechanic for the awesome job they did.

The customer service is just outstanding. My service advisor Leon Cobbs goes above and beyond to make sure a customer is receiving everything they need and not just selling them anything to make a buck. I've never received service as such anywhere else but Steve Hopkins Honda/Leon Cobbs. Keep up the great work!

Took vehicle in for simple regular maintenance. After completion of a oil change that took two hours was informed my drain plug was stripped. They just put the old damage one back in and instead informed me of issue after vehicle was finished. I expected much more from the dealership first and last time coming here. Save your money Jiffy Lube does much better more efficiently.

I needed to have a battery replaced in my key. The parts department replaced it in a few minutes, didn't cost much. Parts department and cashier personnel friendly.
