“I cannot say enough good things about this office. Our vet is AMAZING. They always tell you all the options for treatment and the price tag. They will even tell you when you can get prescriptions cheaper online. We had to unexpectedly put our "baby" to sleep today. Everyone was so compassionate. They gave me alone time with him, let me be with him while he.passed, and hugged me while I cried after he was gone. When we had to put.our dog to sleep because he had advanced cancer, they sent us a plaster cast of his paw print, and an ink.one. They are in his memorial shadow box to this day. They never make you feel horrible when.you have an impossible decision to make. I love this place and all of the people, from the receptionist and techs to the vets.”

“I have been bringing my 3 dogs to Animal Hospital in Fairfield for over 6 years. I have always received wonderful care. The veterinarians are very knowledgeable and kind. The support staff is very nice and caring. This practice will give excellent care without inflating the bills. They try to keep unnecessary tests and treatments out of their plans. This helps keep the costs down. I Highly recommend them.”

“They were accommodating with fast appointment time. They were friendly and professional. They did run much later than they told me so I had to wait an additional 3.5 hours to pick up my dog which would be ok if they let me know before I went to the clinic. Their price for services was in line with what I found on the Internet. Except the medications cost about 2.5 - 3 times as much as what I see others charging. So I would be wary of buying the meds there, maybe just get the prescription and fill it at other places. I'm not sure how that works honestly.”

“Whenever you bring your beloved pet into a vet emergency the stress level is already high. My dog Maddy was throwing up continuously. The staff was very helpful and explained everything well.

Turns out that Maddy had swallowed a sock and it was imbedded in her intestine requiring surgery. The staff kept me informed on the procedure. I consistently called them and came down to check and visit with my girl. The whole staff loved Maddy and took great care of her. Special shout out to nurse Brittany who really showed love for Maddy.”

“This store goes above and beyond! There is a great selection of treats for my dog who is especially picky when it comes to liking something long term. They always have large 15.5lb bags of food for both my dog and my cat, which saves me money in comparison to buying the 7lb bags and multiple trips a month!! I DEFINITELY recommend coming here over Petsmart, and it's less than a mile from the Gateway Blvd. Petsmart location in Fairfield.”

“Kelly Palm DMV and staff continue to be the best at taking care of our animals. We moved to San Francisco 9’years ago. We continue to drive to CalWest because of Kelly Palm and staff. Kindness and expert care have been the hallmark of her practice. They go out of their way to help in a crisis, to find solutions and get everything in place. Hard decisions are made with expert care and a lot of grace. My pets have flourished under her care.Much gratitude to Kelly Palm DVM, CalWest and the entire staff.”

“The staff is kind, efficient, patient and understanding. They treated our family cat with kindness and compassion. We had a consultation because our cat was weak and not eating or drinking enough and seemed to be getting worse pretty fast. We were given a recommendation for x rays and electrolytes. The bill was high, my mom needed help paying. It was closing time. We scheduled the X-rays and electrolytes for the next day. We took our cat home and he died early the next morning. It's nobody's fault, it was too late to save him I'm sure. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 stars is that I believe the vet, with all of his experience, could've told us that at that point our cat's condition was so bad that we should take him to an emergency clinic right away and plan to have him put to sleep or he might pass away at home. Instead, we noticed that a bigger emphasis was placed on the money being paid for the consultation and the x rays and electrolytes the next day. So I recommend to everybody, if your pet is fine and healthy, Animal Hospital is a good place to go for routine visits. But if your pet is in bad condition, please go to UC Davis Veterinary Hospital in Davis, CA. The 30 minute drive from Fairfield is worth it. Those students and their Veterinary teachers go above and beyond for the animals (I've taken my dogs there for years and they're amazing). Still, no bad feelings for Animal Hospital. We are grateful for their help despite the pain of losing our family cat. Thank you for reading ‍”

“Been going here since 2018 and would never go anywhere else! Best Veterinarian who has cared for all of my dogs, my sons 90 lb Pitt Bull and my daughters tiny Pug. He even took amazing care of my dogs nine puppies and saved one from kennel cough! Throughout the yrs he cared for my pups with the absolute most care. Highly recommended”

“So this vet is a very good vet and very helpful. An definitely try to help clients who can't afford there bills with payment plans. But i just recently had a problem with a employee named makayla, i don't know if im spelling her name correctly. But she has terrible attitude, demeanor is terrible, an how she speaks to the clients is terrible. So with a establishment like that my only regards to them is they should definitely get her some more training. Because she can rub somebody the wrong way and everybody won't have the same patience i had with her an somebody might actually react an do something you that girl. But other then that i like everybody else in that establishment is very nice and helpful and know how to carry themselves. So i really hope they fix that problem and i don't think makayla needs to be fired but she definitely needs some more training with dealing with clients because her attitude is terrible and that mouth is to smart for me for somebody that knew nothing about the situation or my pet. I hope she gets the help she needs or the love she is missing at home somewhere else then a bad attitude at work an letting it out on others because her personal life.”

Took my two pets here to get ready for overseas PCS and every staff was just on top of everything! Everyone is so nice and helpful. Truly one of the best vets I’ve taken my pets to.”
