“Nice place, cool decor, HUGE jetted tub, great shower water pressure. But, the bathroom was a step up (be careful not to trip!) & the mattress needed/had a bumpy topper on it that made the sheets pull off & felt like you were about to roll off. Also the blanket needs to be a few inches longer - my toes are still cold. We'll return when the opportunity arises, bringing in items to make it perfect.”

“We arrived after 11 pm, the lobby staff was very friendly and explained to us step by step the hotel's resources, and the hot breakfast was very delicious, clean place and very colonial style as we like, close to Malibu 36 minutes and 45 minutes away If xflags is not bad, little traffic in the area, we were able to rest our family peacefully, we highly recommend it.

“Had to make a stop overnight on our way to our final destination so this hotel choice was out of necessity. We were blessed by fate. From the moment we walked through the door the facility glowed with professionalism. The counter person – this was 11:30pm was cheerful and concerned for out comfort and wellbeing. We were in our room in no time. This is a little thing but they had the new type luggage carts that made transporting everything MUCH easier. The room was CLEAN, furnished comfortably even though it was a cookie cutter chain design. The bed was very comfortable ( a huge plus) and the supplies were all of excellent quality. While we were only at the hotel the one night the staff and facility made a very positive impression on us.”
“Good hotel, but not great. Nice and average. But that's okay. However, the receptionist was clearly irritated we showed up an hour early. The housekeeping people also entered our room at 10am and again at 11:05 and check out was at 12pm. That was very irritating. Both times the shower was on and between my wife and I, each of us didn't hear the knocking over the shower noise and obviously the one of us in the shower didn't hear either. I didn't like that at all.”

“I always book my in-laws here they love it. They usually visit a couple times a year and the staff always remembers them and their preferences. Anytime I can arrange something for my mother-in-law and she has now complaints, it's a good thing.”

“Needed a hotel to stay in the night before heading out to Channel Islands National Park. We needed a shower, beds, and a place to repack our gear for our camping trip (we had flown into LAX and were headed out to Channel Islands the following day). This Motel was nice and all the staff were friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and heading into a big day of hiking/adventuring/etc we were able to fill up at breakfast and there were many protein options too which was much appreciated. Great find, budget friendly, good breakfast.”
