“Great place to stay when visiting Yosemite. The lodge is sorrounded by nature, well furnished, and extra clean. Eddy is a super host, very passionate about Yosemite, and eager to give you tips for making the most out of your stay at the park. Thank you Eddy for everything and I hope to be your guest again when I come back for the half dome hike ?”
“We had a wonderful one-night stay at Chateau du Sureau, along with dinner at the Elderberry House. What an amazing place…everything about it, our room, the service, dinner, the grounds…incredible.”
“The ambiance was breathtaking. A very beautiful and authentic ranch with lovely cozy rooms. We especially liked the bathroom and the beautiful terrace. The stay was perfect for us, as we were hiking in Yosemite National Park. We would love to come back again!”

“We stayed for a night before heading into Yosemite. This was a fantastic little spot, tucked away by the river. The onsite bar had live music and was a great vibe.”
“Ein super Hotel mit tollem Zimmer und genügend Platz. Es ist ein Außenpool mit Whirlpool vorhanden, den man gut nach langen Wanderungen zum Entspannen nutzen kann. Außerdem steht eine Sauna und Dampfsauna im Innenbereich zur Verfügung. Ideal für den Besuch des Yosemite Parks. Eine gute Stunde Fahrt bis ins Yosemite Valley muss man aber einkalkulieren.”
“Great place to stay, large clean rooms hotel well staffed and very modern. Staff friendly and courteous, I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a good place to stay while in Oakhurst or on their way to visit Yosemite. Why worry about the crowds and limited reservations at camp sites or other lodging in Yosemite Valley. Just stay in Oakhurst and drive into the park for your hiking and river fun, and exit back to great food in Oakhurst and a soft bed at Fairfield Inn. Trust me let the "tourists" deal with the Yosemite crowds you'll be enjoying the good life in crowd free Oakhurst. ?
Enjoy ?

“I stayed there for a night and I would say our experience was good .Room was neat and clean -Good to sleep and move on to the sightseeing .B/F was ok not a great selection just bread butter jam etc and good coffee and fruits .Overall a decent place.Location wise it’s top with a 7 ‘LL on the opposite side and a good Chinese restaurant next door and a nice grill restaurant as well ahead .”
“The Lodge was overall above average in location and service. However they were a little short in their selling of onsite activities. I was there in July, and wanted to sign up for activities such as Yoga and glass blowing. On the website, and other informational sheets, the glass blowing activity showed it was available for Mondays, however when I called to sign up I was told classes are no longer held on Mondays. Also the yoga classes are only a couple of days a week! I was surprised as July is peak season, and they don’t seem to be prepare or care about their guests. Or update their website!”
