“Great location — you wake up, step onto the balcony, and see the forest right in front of you. It was amazing! We reached the hotel quickly, and I really liked the houses.
The room was small but comfortable for two people, and it was warm inside. It would be nice to have a microwave and one more chair.
When we were leaving, our car got stuck, and the hotel staff kindly helped us — many thanks for that!”

The house was exceptionally well stocked with everything we could have needed - from breakfast items to everyday essentials. It was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, making us feel right at home. We really appreciate Edward's genuine hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Evergreen Haus to anyone visiting Yosemite.”

“My room was located on the 4th floor. It had a beautiful view of the mountains. My room was very clean with a nice big TV that can stream Netflix. Front desk staff was very welcoming and professional. The lady that worked in the kitchen made breakfast feel like you were eating at home. She is sweet and accommodating. The location is perfect! You have all the stores and restaurants you can ask for within reach. This hotel is the perfect place to stay for a getaway in the mountains(Oakhurst/Yosemite)”

“We had a great stay at Yosemite Sierra Inn during our Yosemite trip. The location was very convenient for visiting Yosemite National Park, and the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the check-in process was quick and easy. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere after a long day of exploring. The hotel offered good value for the price, and we would definitely consider staying here again on a future visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable base near Yosemite.”

“Location and amenities are what you're paying for at the Tenaya.
For reference: Paid about $600/night for a king spa room.
The good: Location is prime, 10 min from southern entrance of park. Pool complex is great...although young couples and retirees beware because this is a VERY family resort (not a problem for us with our 7 year old who loved the pool). The food was better than expected for resort food: we ate mostly poolside and at the BBQ, did not eat at the sit down restaurants. Room was nice and quiet with little balcony which was relaxing to drink morning coffee on. Bathroom definitely needs updating with doors I'd expect in a college dorm.
The meh: The service. Staff essentially walking around clueless unsure of basic questions like what time does x or y open. Had little faith in the concierge as she was attempting to sign us up for various things. Room cleaning is woefully understaffed, so occurs ridiculously late in the day. Definitely had a sence of being nickle and dimed for a lot of things - I'm sorry but charging for bikes, stargazing walks and shaved ice at the BBQ buffet is kinda cringe.
The Bad: The wifi. Spent the entire trip on 5g because the wifi was abhorent. I couldn't be paying $600/night fot bad wifi.
Overall: We had a great time at the Tenaya and would stay here again with kids, although not for a higher price point than this.”
