“Rooms are spacious and clean! Breakfast are also an awesome treat. The place is nestled Ina cozy nice town. Close enough to Yosemite for a scenic drive. Will definitely go again in the near future.”
“The ambiance was breathtaking. A very beautiful and authentic ranch with lovely cozy rooms. We especially liked the bathroom and the beautiful terrace. The stay was perfect for us, as we were hiking in Yosemite National Park. We would love to come back again!”

41139 CA-41, Oakhurst“Since I booked the hotel on a 3rd party app (Priceline) I was a little nervous when nobody would answer the phone on a Wednesday after noon. It was quite a drive so I was ready to relax! The office is only open 8am-12pm! There is a convenient note on the door when you get there along with a sweet note with your key. Whew!! May I recommend leaving that on your voicemail recording so people know? (Office hours) This is a quaint 12 room hotel. The other amenities are open on the weekends. Extremely clean, quiet and cozy. I would definitely go back. Great way to go into Yosemite through the South Entrance. The town of Oakhurst itself also has quite a bit. The Idle Hour winery is right above the hotel if you are hungry M-Wed. I didn't try it this go around.”

We were a bit disappointed that during the winter the bathroom in our room 407 is near freezing cold while other parts of the room is warmer. And breakfast did not have morning star breakfast meatless patties anymore. To make it worse inconsiderate guests leave the luggage trolley in the hallway on the 4th floor and when it was raining one vehicle decided is their special spot. We had to block the road to load our belongings. People hotel staff and housekeepers are not your personal maid, return trolleys and be considerate of other guests. Overall the staff and hotel is great!!! Will stay again when visiting Yosemite National Park.”
“Decided to take a road trip for 2023 New Year's and stayed at the Oakhurst lodge. Great place I would definitely recommend. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. no fancy amenities, but do you really need them when you're out hiking and enjoying the surroundings? Restaurants and coffee are all within walking distance. I would definitely return.”

8308 Wawona Rd, Yosemite Valley“This hotel is a bit of nostalgia. It feels like a resort out of the 40s. It was quiet and clean. We had a room without a bathroom which was fine. There were bathrooms and showers not far from the room and there was rarely anyone in there. The room did have a sink. All the staff were lovely. So friendly and knowledgeable even at the beginning of the season. We will definitely return.”
“Today, my son and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Jackalope's Bar and Grill at Tenaya Lodge. Their menu offered a wide variety, from pork belly to sea bass, and unsurprisingly, our meal was perfect! Tenaya Lodge is located in the mountains near Yosemite, in a small town called Fish Camp. It's conveniently located just off highway 41, north of Oakhurst by about 10 miles. After lunch, we explored the hotel and found three cool gift shops and a huge indoor swimming pool. Considering it's so close to home, a weekend trip to Tenaya Lodge with the family is definitely on my radar! Unfortunately, the snow kept us from exploring the grounds outside - maybe next time with the proper attire. Follow me on IG @hungry_dude_usa”
