Lowe's of Folsom appliances. Went to look at refrigerators & were waited on by a very knowledgeable lady named Paulette. She did not push & listened to our needs before showing us 2 different counter depth refrigerators. Her listening skills & professional approach were first class. Told our neighbor about our experience & he ended up buying a refrigerator from Paulette the following week. He said his impression of Paulette was the same as ours; positive! Paulette is an example of first class customer service!

After over 20+ years of shopping al Lowe's stores, today I was given the news that I can not return items anymore, unless I have a receipt. This was never ever the case, I mentioned to the lady at the register, that my company spend $50K to up to 100k per project, and that 70 % of that was bought at lowe's stores, she just smile and told me that it was their new policy. When I ask for the manager, Jaccop came out and confirm that they would not take the BBQ Burner I had just bought, because I did not have the receipt. When I asked him for the district Manager phone number, he told me rudly, that he was not going to give to me, instead he gave me 1 800 number which it was an auto answering service. I am now faced with throwing away a $28 dollar bbq burner, because even though it says it would fit my bbq, it did not. Mind you, I was not even asking for the cash, but for store credit so that I could spend it there. I gave them the number of my business so they could see how much money I spend there, but that did nit persuaded them. I am for sertain not going to go back to that store again, nor would any of my employees. $28 lost to me... And lowe's, you need to retrain some emplooyes in customer service.

I bought a John Deere lawn tractor at this Lowe's last week. And the associate who helped me was Janelle. I wanted to let the Company to know that her customer service was above and beyond , she was very knowledgeable of the lawn tractors. She also took me up to customer service and i bought it. she said she would call me the next day about delivery which she did !! It was very nice to see an employee actually help me and have great customer service skills!!!

If looking to have carpet installed, definitely not the place to go. They had to reschedule twice on the same day to get a measurement once in the morning then the afternoon, then cancelled altogether. Typical contractor crap. If they can't even show up to measure, I can only assume what the install will be. To top it off, the store manager didn't even offer to waive the $35 measurement fee or give any type of discount for their incompetence . No big deal though, just a vacation day taken away from my family waiting for them to no show.

Lowes advocate waste of paints, pollution of the environment. bought a can of paint from Lowes a quart. Of nice cabinet paint for project only used about 20 percent of it. So thought I could use on another project. So about 6 months go buy and i plan on buying some things and have another wood project small but plenty for the can and I take it with me. It's orange and I ask the paint guy can you just add some tint black so I can use the rest of this and not waste it by disposing it. And he says that against policy. Pretty sure it's been done before. I ask him when this was changed and he Says its always that way. Then I ask if I can pay for the tinting and he says that's against policy. Then I ask if they sell tint they he says they don't. Then I try one more time to show Lowes can be a decent place and ask if I buy a sample 4oz can of Valapar can you put the black tint that would normally go into that but put it in my can and leave me the sample white he said that's not what we do. I even purchased stuff too. Not like I just brought in a random can of the street and tried to take advantage of somethingThus Lowes completely advocates waste and pollution contribution.

Waited about 15 minutes for curbside pickup, nobody came out and no call. Tried calling twice, phone rang about 5 minutes with no answer. Finally went in. 4 associates were behind the pickup counter and only 1 person in line ahead of me. Once I got up I stated that I had been waiting for some time and had also tried calling. They stated “I’m short staffed and don’t have somebody for that.” Asked that they could have at least called me to tell me that, which they responded with “I don’t have time for that.” So I am supposed to use my mind reading abilities to know that curbside is not available when you won’t call me or answer your phone when I call? Terrible.

Waited 20+ min at the paint counter and no one came to help after pressing their button and stopping to ask someone if I could get some paint. Multiple employees walked by no one explained to me the reason for the wait or at least acknowledged that I had been waiting for a long time. Customer service counter is directly across the paint section.. no acknowledgment. Ended up wasting my time and leaving.

Why 5 Stars for a Big Box store? This trip was easy to find knowledgeable help in the hardware section who stayed with me until my many questions answered and problem solved. They had just what I needed in stock.

The level of disrespect that this company thinks they can get away with. Order due last month, multiple delays, 2 hours in store doing nothing, complete disrespect of our patience.

I had carpet installed on my stairs. After about two years the carpet started to come apart from the stairs. Poor workmanship and install. Of course Lowe's will not make right because it is out of warranty despite the fact that their installers did a very very poor job of installing. Avoid Lowe's install at all cost!!!
