“Needed a truck for a few hours to move stuff from one storage facility to another closer to my house. It was easy to get the reservation and staff at the store were helpful. After the drop off, they let me wait inside with the A/C while waiting for my wife to pick me up.”

“I'm not sure about the other reviews complaining about the owner as he was professional when we rented a cargo van from this location. In fact, we mentioned in passing that we'd be returning the van and then heading to a different location in Rancho Cordova later in the week to pick up a larger moving truck. He suggested that we could just rent that truck from him and save the drive on the 50. We mentioned that we attempted to reserve the 26' foot truck on U-Haul's site and it said no trucks of the size we needed were available. Well, he proved that U-Haul's online reservation system may not be 100% accurate as he had more than one of the truck size we needed on hand. We were able to cancel our other reservation and swap out the cargo van for the larger truck in one simple transaction. In the middle of 5 days of moving the idea of not having to trek out to Rancho Cordova and deal with US-50 was music to our family's ears. The owner's simple suggestion saved us at least an hour when time was a precious commodity. Specific to our move, this location was smack in the middle of the house we were leaving and the house we were moving to. It is worth noting that there is a gas station only 0.2 miles from this U-Haul location which made refilling the fuel for the van and the truck a breeze. No searching for a gas station or dealing with Rancho / Sacramento / etc. traffic while trying to negotiate a 20+ foot vehicle is an A+.”
