Roy did a great job getting me into a vehicle at very short notice since my company truck broke down on the 10 Hwy. When I arrived by Uber to Hertz Fontana, Roy was super helpful with full of energy and motivation. He understood my situation and tried to help although I didn't have a prior reservation. He got me the last vehicle availble, and even assisted with loading all my stuff taken from the truck. Thank you Roy for your professional handling and great service! Thank you Hertz Fontana!

I've only been here once, but that was enough. Terrible experience. I reserved a car online. When I got to this location there was only one person working the desk, and there were two people already waiting ahead of me. It took him 45 minutes to get to me. Once he did he informed me they were out of cars.According to Caesar working the desk, Hertz will take reservations no matter what cars are available, and if they don't have your car or any other car available, tough luck for you. He couldn't offer another type of car, or check with other locations. He recommended trying the airport which would be more of a hassle and more expensive.This is first time I needed to rent a car in a long time, and luckily a different rental company up the street was able to fulfill a same-day reservation. Thanks to this experience I will not be renting from Hertz again in the future, and I'll be sure to share my experience with anyone who will listen.

If I could give a zero I would. Two men working the counter on Friday Feb 16th at 330pm were upsetting every single customer that came in. I was there for 1.5 hours and neither of them were competent enough to fulfill a prepaid Expedia reservation. I warn anyone coming to this ghetto and incompetent location. Make the drive anywhere else but here. The manager was one of the men working. He was an extremely unintelligent person with a really bad work ethic. I left without any rental car even though it was fully paid for thru Expedia with proof & confirmation from Hertz and Expedia.

This is my 5th reservation this month and first for this branch. I usually got to the one on Riverside but this one is much closer to me. I have never experienced such incompetence and just lack of empathy.Made a reservation a day in the early morning before. They open at 8am and my reservation was for 10am. They said they didn’t have the economy car available and only SUVs and the charge would be more. This has happened before but usually they offer you the car at no extra charge. They said I had to pay more. The associate was very rude and not willing to assist at all. I honestly did not ask for anything. I just heard him say they don’t have it and that’ll be more money and that I shouldn’t have made the reservation last minute not through a third party. It just seems like they didn’t prepare for the day. The previous customer had the same issue and was being charged $200 more!It simply shows they didn’t go through their reservation log and made the appropriate delivery to that branch.Do not go to this small branch where they are dependent on transporting cars from other places.Now I had to Uber across town to get a rental. This is such an inconvenience especially when you need it for work.

I rented the car with a recent debit when I went to pick up the car on Saturday the 6th the day before my birthday the guy told me he looked down on the table and read the sign it says that with a debit card you have to put a $500 deposit down I don't have that type of I didn't get the car and they didn't refund my money I had to call them on Wednesday to ask them about my money refund and she says oh yeah we'll send it out to you in 5 to 7 business days if I wouldn't have called them they didn't want to give me back my money anyway happy New Year everybody God bless you now I know

Tried really hard to up charge me wouldn’t allow me to use my own insurance to cover the vehicle and also wouldn’t allow me to use my AAA discount. Walked away without a rental

This place is horrible. I called at 8 was put on hold. I think they forgot me so I hung up and called again. Then said someone would pick me up but it would take an hour. I waited 2 hours and called again because I think they forgot to pick me up. After they put me on hold the guy came back on and said someone is on the way. After another hour I called enterprise and they picked me up in less than 30 minutes. Don’t waste your time just call enterprise.

The vehicle was absolutely filthy and did not meet any cleanliness standards. Not only that, but it also had a severe shortage of engine oil, and the engine oil light was constantly on. When we reported this issue to the local Hertz branch where we picked up the vehicle, they brushed off our concerns and told us not to worry. However, after driving just a few miles, the engine oil light kept coming back on repeatedly, forcing us to add engine oil ourselves. This was an extremely unsafe situation to be in while driving the vehicle. To make matters worse, the vehicle didn't even have any washer fluid, which we had to add ourselves. It was clear that the vehicle had not been properly cleaned or maintained before it was rented out to us.

Worst Experience! Made a reservation & when I arrived they didn’t have the vehicle! Employees were the rudest ! Employee literally got into an argument with another customer, employees giving each other attitude in front of customers smh ??♀️

I love this Hertz location. All their workers are very nice and friendly. Cars are nice and clean. I highly recommend Hertz in Fontana.I had fun with the Mustang I rented last weekend. ?

Had a reservation at 2. 2:45 came around and they finally had the car. But they didn’t have the car and wanted to upgrade. I didn’t take it cuz I don’t want to spend the extra on gas… my call. Why take a reservation for a car you don’t have. Then they wanted 500$ for a deposit. And also needed a soft credit check. Guy in front of me had the same issue.I guess if you’re willing to do a credit check, have 500$ extra dollars laying around and have an hour to wait this is the place for you. Enterprise was the way to go. Took 10 minutes and was way cheaper in the end.

Horrible service would never rent a vehicle from them ever again . Rent from the airport you may get what you want to rent . Ask for a full size got a mini got charged for a full size crazy poor customer service
