Mendocino Chocolate Company is an amazing place and a little gem to pick up gifts like fudge and chocolate, including fun forms like whales and sharks. The salted caramel fudge is amazing, with flavors that are commended. The truffles are yum with a lot of passion and thought put into them, though some can be overly sweet. The staff is nice and provides great service and recommendations, helping guide customers through the process. The shop is a little expensive and the old building has a noticeable smell, but the food and service are very good. Customers never leave disappointed by the flavors.
I eat A LOT of truffles. This place was very good. Great texture. Great thin shell to filling ratio. Knowledgeable sales person who knew the couverture brand. Recommended.

Great local chocolates. A must if visiting Fort Bragg or driving through. Chocolates are made in house so selections maybe limited as they may sell out.
