We had an amazing stay at North Cliff Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the beautiful waterfront view made our stay even more enjoyable. For us, the foghorn wasn't an issue at all and didn't affect our stay.
