“Most military personnel understand the "shoppete"; they are usually open 24 hours. Mostly geared towards quick to consumed food and snack items. But, some shopettes will sell liquor, auto accessories, sundries, frozen foods, seasonal flu and cold medicines (otc), and other miscellaneous items. Most shoppetes sell gas.”
“AAFES gas station is very convenient because it's near from most of the vital places inside the base. The price is unbeatable because it's way cheaper than outside the post. The staff is very friendly and welcoming all the times, usually it's not crowded during the morning times and afternoons. They accept credit cards and cash, they have a small store, which you can grab a coffee and snack on your way while filing up your tank.Thank you for the great service.”
