“My 2013 2500HD Silverado went into limp mode coming out of the Redwoods while towing on a family road trip. We found a nice RV park at Johnny's At The Beach, formerly Johnny's Marina & RV Park, to unhitch the tow camper. That night I looked on maps.google for a Diesel shop. Next day I went to Ponci's Diesel Center.. people inside were friendly and I explained my situation. Brad the owner squeezed me in on a full day to fix the DPF issue the truck was having. I hung out in the area as fixing the truck was my only mission for the day and there is plenty of food options across the street. Brad Ponci's shop is tidy, no junk on the floor, 4-5 lifts.. a few truck projects on the go.. but super organizer. His shop is secure with a fence w barbed wire on it. I did not know if the truck would have to stay a night or not.. but I felt this was a secure place. I did walk up and down the street that has several other auto shops while hanging about.. His shop is IMHO the best layout, secure and clean. It's also right behind O'Reilly Auto Parts. Price was good, I gave him extra because he treated me very good, he worked with me and saved me lots of money where a dealer or shop might drag it out for who knows how long. Thanks Brad, we made it back home 800 miles and still no engine lights!!”

“Don't waste your time going to any other ATV shop in Humboldt County. Tom Porter is aces up the nicest, most knowledgeable, and efficient ATV Technician around. I brought my Yamaha Grizzly to two different shops in Eureka and both failed to correctly address my hard start/stalling problem. One took three weeks to get it back to me. The second one took two weeks. I called Tom and he directed me to bring it in for a look. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. We rolled it off the trailer and I was able to limp it into the shop and onto his work ramp. To my surprise he started working on it right away. In less than two hours he had that machine purring like a kitten. From a cold start, with no choke, that puppy powered up better than new. I am so thankful for Tom and will ONLY trust my ATV to North Coast ATV!”

“Woody's Auto Repair did an excellent job working on my beloved '07 VW Eos! I tried taking my car to 4 different shops to get my issue taken care of. After being refused by all of them, I was referred to Woody's to take a look. Nico spent quite a bit of time and effort diagnosing the issue, and called me up to chat about my options. Not only was he able to take care of my issue to my satisfaction, I received an oil change, and a vehicle inspection letting me know what my next upcoming maintenance issues would be. And it was all done for a VERY fair price! I highly recommend them if you have a Volkswagen, and want someone who knows what they're doing to service and maintain your vehicle. I really appreciated being kept in the loop with the repair status, and I enjoyed each time we chatted that I felt very comfortable that he knew what he was talking about, and wasn't trying to BS me. I don't know that much about cars, but my mechanic should know way more than me, and I can usually tell when they're bluffing. No bluffing here! This shop has the knowledge my unique vehicle needed. I very confidently recommend this shop to anyone with a VW! Even though it's 45 mins from where I live, the piece of mind is worth the drive. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
